Craft Bar + Kitchen — Restaurant in Seattle

Something is off this time. I stayed at HGI for a week, my third stay in 2 years. Bfast is Buffet style with an ala carte option. I just small sampled the hot items and mostly had the cold and continental items.

Pros. Excellent customer centric wait staff. Must have an awesome cook/chef as hot breakfast items were really good. Wide selection of hot items and a chef's special each morning.

Cons. Ran out of cereal on my 1st breakfast. There were like 2 prepackaged cups left that morning. No cereals the following morning. Until the day before I checked when cereal was refilled. Then ran out of PB&J on my 4th day. Never got refilled. Then cream cheese was not available on my last day. The 4 slice bread toaster, only partly works.....only 1 side works and the other will not hold when...

Wow how do I start this? The food was really poor. It seems like no one cares at all about quality. Our waitress was kind and did her best but it was her, a bartender who appeared high as a kite and a chef that didn’t know the ingredients of his food. My son has an allergy and the chef had no idea what was in the food he cooked. Everything tasted like it was frozen and microwaved. I can’t believe this restaurant is in business. There is about 10 tables in the place and 8 of them never got bused. Oh and the icing on the cake was it was hot……like no AC HOT! Great happy hour, live music and bar selection. Lots of local spirits! All of the bartenders are great, we always have excellent service! Definitely annoyed with people who complain about the happy hour food here and other places I frequent, it is cheap food, do you expect it to be amazing? Don't leave reviews about the food unless you order off the actual menu people!! I work across the street and come here often and sometimes hear people complain about the quality of their 5.00 happy hour food item... It is 5.00 for a reason! It is not supposed to be 5...
