Hands down--The BEST gelato in town! Until I find something better, I'll keep coming back.

I needed myself a treat after finishing yet another performance review and delivering it to one my direct reports and by golly, there isn't a better place than GELATIAMO!

I come here solely for my ultimate favorite flavor: Rice/Riso. It's smooth, creamy, has the perfect sweetness, and I simply LOVE the texture of the rice on each and every bite! Rice is my thang. I have to have rice with almost every meal. It's extremely difficult to eat a meal without it. I know, it sounds a little weird (maybe a lot weird), having rice paired up with gelato, but for some reason, it does it for me. Call me a weirdo or whatever, but come try it before you knock it! Just in case you won't like it, I suggest you pick a second flavor (that you think you might like), with you order so it won't be a total disappointment...lookin' out. Oh, almost forgot to mention the affogato another favorite of mine. I lied, I go here for two things, haha!

This location has 16 different flavors to choose from. All look amazing and worth checking out. You can sample the flavors of you can't decide visually, what to get. There are 8 tables with 2-3 chairs per table inside and about 6 tables outside with 2-3 chairs. The ambiance is relaxing and refreshing. Great place to chill for a little while. It sits at the corner of the block and there are a lot of cars and pedestrian traffic. So if you're one of those peeps that enjoy and entertained by these things, then this is a great spot for that.

This shop is clean and the staff are helpful and freindly. They serve coffee, and offer a variety of other things including: cakes, cookies, biscotti, baked goods, and other dessert items (see my photo uploads) to satisfy your sinful cravings :-o. On top of that, they have background music playing and can that help put you in a good and happy mood. I mean, what more can you...

Rude, needs training on how to deal with customers.

I went there today in a group of four people. We all felt that the lady scooping the ice-cream was rude, but we ignored it and got our scoops. While eating, I found a hair in my cup, so I went up to the cash register and showed it to the guy working there. He asked me if he could get me another one, I told him no, thank you (didn't even ask for a refund) and started walking back toward my group, when the same rude lady from before yells at me that the garbage is over there, I turn around and see her pointing towards the garbage area, so I went back, got the ice-cream cup from the guy at the cash register and threw it in the garbage. As I sat back down with my group, the rude lady came out from behind the ice-cream, mentions to me that she didn't know, then proceeded to fish out the cup I threw in the garbage. As we were leaving the store, I hear her mention to her colleague that the hair was just sitting on top. Not sure what was the point of all that, especially when I didn't even ask them for a replacement or a refund. Her rude behaviour from the start left me feeling that I should not come here again. I would recommend going down to the pier for some homemade ice cream and...

This is my first and last time ever buying anything from this store. I needed to buy a tiramisu real quick for my friend and was happy to find Gelatiamo on my way. When I entered the seller didn’t eve greet me at all— which is fine, maybe they did and didn’t hear it or something. But when I asked concrete question what were the prices for smaller and bigger tiramisu, He just said “$40”. I was confused, but this is not it.

I decided to go with a bigger tiramisu and asked him to pack, to which he packs it to the box and doesn’t even hands to me and just waits me to take it. The box didn’t have any holders to hold and I already had a big bag in my hand , so it was very inconvenient for me to hold the box without stripes, rope of big bag at least.

When I asked if he had something to put the cake on, he seemed to be very bothered with that question and started putting the box into a small plastic bag which didn’t even seem to be fitting at all. He wasn’t welcome or trying to help at all!!...

I love the gelato here. However, a friend of mine told me they have Tiramisu, my favorite. I wanted to try a Tiramisu made by an Italian. I was very disappointed. I tasted no mascarpone cheese. I tasted whip cream instead. It was very dry inside. I posted two pics. The Gelatiamo tiramisu and my homemade tiramisu. My version is at least 20 times better with lots of Italian mascarpone cheese. On top of this, the cashier told me it was $35 but charged me $45. I only realized when I got home that I was overcharged $10. I also bought pistachio, rice, mint chocolate, and caramel gelato. That was good. The Tiramisu was a total disappointment. Even Whole Foods tiramisu tastes more authentic. It's too bad. I met the owner about a decade ago. He was very nice. I wonder if it's still owned by him.

This place is a gem! The gelato and coffee are incredibly authentic. Alfork was so friendly and patient, letting us try several flavors before deciding, which was tough because they were all so good. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a treat. Highly recommend stopping by!

We came here to get dessert right before the Seattle Symphony started. It’s right across the street and closes before most shows at 7 PM. There was about 15 minutes to closing, and it felt like the staff was not happy about us coming in, but there was already people eating in there so we felt what’s another two person order? The gelato is very well made with the traditional flavors of Italy and at least one seasonal flavor that’s more contemporary. The flavors aren’t sugary and fake like you might find at other places, they taste like what they actually are with the pistachio being quite nutty and the cappuccino one being very strong and slightly bit of delicious cappuccino flavor. They have a lot of baked goods to take as a gift to wherever you’re headed to.
