5:50pm on a Tuesday night. Sitting at the bar drinking a beer checking instagram minding my business. The sound was on - I was watching a cooking video that had a pan sizzling. Bartender walks up to me and these are his exact words: “You’re literally doing everything bartenders hate right now!” I was very confused. And he said “All I can here is static back here from you’re stupid video.” Like… I didn’t know it was that loud and why couldn’t I just have been asked kindly to please turn it down. I honestly didn’t even realize anyone could hear it. I asked him why he didn’t just ask me to turn it down and he said “I thought I just did.” I said no you just told me that I’m doing what you and every bartender hates when you could have just asked kindly. After this my beer was empty for 15 min and he didn’t come serve me again until I got his attention to close my tab.

Look, I had a horrible day and I just wanted to relax and have a beer. I honestly didn’t even realize anyone could hear my video. I wish I would have been treated kindly. I would have stayed for a couple more beers. But I didn’t feel welcome at all after that, especially after being ignored for service following.

So I will not be coming back. Nice place...

I’ve been to Houndstooth plenty of times. Recently, we went on a mission to find Guinness on tap in Greenwood, and they were the only bar to have it. Score! The bartender, was great and inviting. He loved our dog—yes, dogs are allowed there!

We decided to return for the NFL playoffs. We asked the bartender (a different one) to turn the music off and put the game on so we could hear it. He mentioned he didn’t like football and wasn’t keen on changing it. Quite bizarre for a sports pub! After a bit of begging and sincere niceness, he finally obliged.

We ordered food, and anything fried took forever to come out. The bar was barely half full. My friend asked about her wings, and he stated it’s very busy when football is on, and they only have one fryer. It took over an hour, and she even tried to cancel her order. The bartender was not friendly and pretty negative from the moment we walked in.

Overall, the food is good with large portion sizes, which is a bonus. However, the service was disappointing. I’m giving them a 3 star since the bartender the first night we were there was a delight! He should be working all the time to have...

Pretty sure I got food poisoning. The atmosphere here is great, and drinks seemed standard for a bar but I ordered from the kitchen (Italian heart-breaker sandwich, and opted for the side of spicy coleslaw) and either the coleslaw or the sandwich was bad I'm pretty sure. I felt something was maybe off about the coleslaw and chalked it up to it being a spicy variation I never had before, but about an hour later, I started feeling stomach pain/cramps and this feeling continued for the next 2 days and counting. I've never had stomach pain that intense or for that long before, and generally consider myself to have a strong stomach/no food allergies.

Other than that, this place is great. Just watch out for the coleslaw and...
