I originally came here to get a bento box 🍱 but I didn’t see the options I would normally choose so I decided on a Shrimp Sauté plate that came out to about $21.

I watched them make about 8 pre orders (this was about lunch time) and afterwards, they bagged my order to go. Once I opened my order and tried it, the shrimp tasted either overcooked or old. The shrimp was hard. I’m not impressed with this plate at all. I’m really disappointed. The vegetables were fresh, and I feel like the veggies were only fresh because they were already cooking them for the other pre orders.

The place is clean and a little roomy. There’s seating and good selection music playing. The staff were very friendly and nice. They told me 7 minutes for my order and it was given to me right around 5 minutes. So they’re very quick (but I do question if “quick” puts a dent in quality).

This review is my opinion of the Shrimp 🍤 Sauté plate only. I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, which they have a large selection. I don’t believe I’ll come here again purposely, but I would try something else off the menu if I didn’t want anything else...

I ordered this through Door Dash and when I got my order at the door I only got my BibimBap. I called the deliverer to retrieve my Gyozas that were missing. Deliverer goes back to the restaurant. Deliverer tells me to talk to a lady there that was working. I speak to the lady, tell her my problem, I ask her kindly to send the 8 pcs of Gyoza for what I paid for already, and the lady I was talking to kept saying "So you want another 8?". Trust me, I wouldn't cheat anyone out of food, but before she hung up on me she said outloud "who will pay for this?!". 10 minutes later the deliverer called me and basically said that the deliverer was being told that he had to pay for my missing order....

I ended trying to get a refund, but Kyoto Teriyaki will no longer have any business from me. Also, to the lady that was trying to make a deliverer pay for an order that I was already...

Love this place! The lady here is so nice love talking with her. The food is great, large portions & lots of sauce. They have a fairly large dinning area w/ lots of different choices for seating: high tables, regular tables & bar stool type seating. I absolutely love tempura! And especially the veggies tempura. Here they have both options shrimp & veggie unlike most places who only have shrimp. & when getting the chicken teriyaki combo with tempura. It comes with veggie and shrimp tempura! So I got the chicken teriyaki & tempura combo w/ salad & upgraded the rice to fried rice (shown in photo). The price was $21-22 of course I tipped because this is a fav spot of mine right next to a nail shop. It only took about 5-6min to...

Took this order to-go. I have been in search of a new teriyaki option in the neighborhood & I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. This was my first time, so I can't speak for the consistency, but I will definitely be coming back to get the dine-in experience. Pro-tip: Order the saute so that you get grilled veggies rather than the salad, which doesn't have much nutritional value or the taste that the grilled option gives you. Not bad at all at coming in at just below the $16 price point. Midas 5-stars for the juicy chicken in the saute, the good balance in sauce, good portions (2-scoops of rice, & not burning my food.

This is the second review ever writen of only written I'm writing it to remind myself never to buy here as you can see in the picture there is no teriyaki sauce on a Teriyaki Bowl so if you order Teriyaki you're going to get chicken and rice and this isn't something that they did just once if you order Teriyaki there get chicken and rice and have to pay for your teriyaki sauce( I ordered teriyaki not chicken and rice those are two separate things)
