This place has a bouncer with a serious power complex. Tonight, my friend was detained outside for simply accidentally turning around during a pat-down when he was told to not turn around. He was kept out for several minutes while we were inside, with zero professionalism or explanation. He was told, “Oh look you see that group? There are more people in the line. You’re going to have to wait longer”. The guy treated paying customers like criminals and ruined our night.
Management needs to address staff who behave like mini-dictators. We literally came from the No Kings protest earlier in the day, and the irony couldn’t have been clearer. The bouncer at this place acted like a dictator guarding a palace. We don’t want kings as presidents, and we don’t want kings as bouncers.
To anyone considering Still Liquor, avoid it unless you enjoy being ordered around by an tiny authoritarian on a power trip.
I request a prompt investigation into this staff member’s conduct. They were the bouncer that worked on October 18th. Contact me if you want video footage. Please try to help me make sense of why this employee acted the way that they did and respond to this review. Review footage from the entrance at the stated time. Check with the staff on duty who works with this bouncer. Take appropriate disciplinary action if the investigation confirms an abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise unprofessional use of authority.

Read moreI love the vibes inside the bar and the dance floor is always lit. However, I’m giving 1 star because the bouncers and security here are absolute garbage. They are all on some sort of power trip and so unnecessarily aggressive. I’ve been here multiple times and last night was the first time I’ve seen them scan IDs to get in. This is completely fine as all of my party were of age. But the scanner on a friend of mine’s ID, who is 31 btw, scanned yellow. Which according to the bouncer who so rudely said that yellow means it may be suspicious, meant that her government issued Driver’s License was fake. When in fact she got her license at the local DOL. when I went to ask why it was scanning yellow, the bouncer scanned it again and low and behold it was green. The bouncer rudely said that it wasn’t hers and when I flipped it back to show that is was hers the bouncer acted as if we had no clue of what we’re talking about. Me being a person who validates and verifies IDs for work, hello HR, knows what to look for and her DL is perfectly valid. The bouncers need to get an attitude check and be given a training on how to validate Identifications and in...
Read moreNever thought I'd leave a review for a bar/club but here we are.
If you want to feel discriminated against and deal with bouncers that are on a power trip- this is the place for you.
I sat in line for 30 minutes to get into this bar just to be kicked out 10 minutes after arriving with zero explanation. After complaining to the other bouncers that I had done nothing wrong and was confused, the original bouncer that kicked us out finally came out and it was revealed that he had "already warned us about touching the lights while dancing on the tables" which was not the case. He got me mixed up with a completely different black girl???? (mind you this bar has a large demographic of black people) I was inside for TEN MINUTES before they wrongly accused me of doing something that I did NOT do.
Go ahead and read all of the other reviews because this isnt the first time the bouncers there have acted on a power trip and discriminated against others of color (which also makes no sense because they're all for the most part asian)
I will not be back here, nor is it worth it anyway to sit in a tiny, crammed, and...
