This place is a little misleading. I think many are seeing pictures of the restaurant, Six Seven, next to the gift shop thinking it’s part of the coffee shop. The actual coffee shop is located in the gift shop located across from the front lobby desk. The photos of the seating area are of the lobby of the Edgewater Hotel. The lobby is cozy, nice water views, and decorated very well. The Coffee Shop: Basic coffee options. They had a selection of “Specials” that seemed like they would be good but I stuck to a Sugar Free Vanilla Latte. A little expensive for what it is but was still enjoyable with the water views.

Was there last week. Came specifically for this place. Drive for 1 hour and 45 minutes to drink coffee and eat something. But i was surpriced that there wasn parking place and you should pay 14$ for 1 hour parking. Next surprise was when i had been waiting for coffee for 20 minutes. There weren’t any cupcakes, desserts to eat and drink coffee and relax. Beautiful place but don't drive for so many hours. didn't live up to my expectations.

Waited in line for 28 minutes to even be able to order my coffee. The girl was taking one customer at a time... and making each drink individually. So silly me I thought she cared about her craft and made each drink well. Nope. She just doesn't know. I finally order 2 drinks. As I watched her make them she pulled all 4 shots of coffee and let them sit.... then she grabbed the cups and added the syrups which were not even the right amounts that I requested. She proceeded to wash and rinse things before adding the shots to the coffee. By the time they made it to my cup it was clear they were burnt. She still served them.

She seemed like a nice girl but she had no sense of urgency and needs to be retrained on her coffee skills. The coffee was awful not worth the wait which had me so frustrated that I didn't even want to sit or have any time to enjoy the beautiful lobby...

The front desk hostess behavior is horrible! We asked for a window table which was available but she offered another table. We asked for the reason and she said those tables are for reservations. We asked if people can specify what tables they want when they make a reservation, she told us it is not possible. So we asked again why we can’t sit there and this time she said because she had already set our table. We asked to talked to the restaurant manager. While we were waiting for the manager, she sat another couple to the table we had asked for. The manager found another window...
