Tig Kitchen and Bar — Restaurant in Seattle

I’m compelled to share a rather unsatisfactory experience at Tig Bar. Despite its popularity, my recent visit was marked by subpar service and a complete lack of respect for the customer. I ordered a dozen wings, expecting a delightful meal, but what I received instead was sheer disappointment.

To start with, the order was botched initially, resulting in an additional waiting time of about 30 minutes. While waiting for a meal is normal, waiting for a mistake to be corrected is certainly frustrating. Moreover, what was supposed to be a meal worth $30 transformed into a woeful narrative of under-delivery. Upon receiving our order, we found to our dismay that it was short by half - a mere 6 wings were served instead of the 12 we paid for.

Not only did this leave us feeling cheated, but it also tarnished the whole dining experience. Paying a premium price for such lackluster service and incomplete orders is unjustifiable.

A lot to unpack here. I ordered chicken wings and Korean fries here for pickup on DoorDash. I walked in when the app said it was ready. I told the bartender I was there for a DoorDash pickup and she said it would be 5 more minutes. I didn’t actually receive my for another 25 minutes after talking to her, and she even asked me a second time why I was there. Lol Also within this time I witnessed two different parties get the wrong order. I also saw that they serve Everclear shots. Wild. When my food finally came out, the bartender just set it on the bar like 3 seats away from me and said “it’s ready”. Not very personable at all. The fries were soggy. Not sure why since I’d been in the building for so long, but I’m a weirdo and I actually like soggy fries as well as crispy ones so I was fine with that - the flavour was great. Maybe if you order them there, they will be crispy. The wings were phenomenal. Their sound system is amazing and I love their music selection. I also liked the K-pop videos. Casual, chill vibes. Friendly staff and service. Downside is that it's further up on the ave. Solid food but even better when drinking.

So Maek Tower - I'm not a big beer guy but I'll drink it. Overwhelming beer taste but it's definitely strong. Probably served around 6-8 cups.

Sweet and Spicy Chicken - we were starving and demolished this so I snagged a pic halfway through. These were some pretty fat pieces of chicken so lots of meat to work with. Juicy and tender as well. Honestly, they might be contenders for top wings on the ave though it's hard to say.

Pork Kimchi Tofu - a little bit of everything, there's a blend of textures and flavors to hit every taste bud. Spicy or mild, soft or chewy, you'll feel a bit healthy ordering this. Probably tasted even better being buzzed but it's also good food in the system to handle...
