The rudest and least professional Starbucks I've ever visited. The manager of this store is not fit for the hospitality industry -- she thinks it's actually the hostility industry. They seem to actively dislike their customers!! Not a good vibe. Starbucks is usually a haven for business travellers, a business that we can count on. This one has a bunch of quirks to make it inconvenient, unfriendly, and uncomfortable. I have to say it's unbelievable and Starbucks corporate management should get on top of it. Here are some aspects: 1) as mentioned in other reviews, rude counter staff. When I asked to speak to the manager, you can tell the other staff thought it would be futile -- I found out that the rudest, loud-voice young woman of them all was in fact the manager. 2) They have a meeting room that looks great and quiet -- the music is BLARINGLY uncomfortable so that you need earplugs, it's unsafely loud, even with earplugs. I politely asked if I could please use the meeting room and I got a hard and snotty "No" from the aforementioned rude manager. "You have to give 48 hours notice" she says. "You can't. We can't bend our policy." "Actually," I said, "We are all people. You could choose to be kind. It's only a ten minute meeting that just got called with Germany and your wifi doesn't reach to the parking lot (unlike most other Starbucks, where I can take a quiet meeting in my car, this is not an option at Sedona Starbucks -- they are even stingy and minimalist with their wifi). 3) It's not surprising the staff are unfriendly when you consider the manager they're dealing with. 4) Also notable -- the most inconvenient and awkward bathroom arrangement I've ever seen in a Starbucks. Though it's a 2-seater toilet, they have a key on a cup that even in peak times, customers awkwardly have to go looking for and pass back and forth. I see lots of confusion with people who just need to pee being sent back and forth. Just put a code on it. Or leave it unlocked. Love, trust, give. We all have enough to share. This stingy, unfriendly Starbucks needs a new manager. Bad bad vibe that's giving...
Read moreThis is hands down the best Starbucks that I’ve been to, and is a must-stop location simply bc of the people here. Elijah is awesome. He creates an atomosphere for the customer like I’ve never seen anybody do. I do spend quite a bit of time here doing work as I move from Phoenix to Sedona, and I’ve seen him work, I’ve seen him interact, and I’ve had many conversations with him, and here’s what I’ve noticed. His kindness and attitude is A.) Consistent, B.) Unchanging - he’s high energy all the time, positive energy. I’m sure some days he’s pushing thru, but you’d never know. C.) Committed to his store, and making the atmosphere and the customers, the people, comfortable no matter the walk of life, he maintains great order here from what I see, and really understands employees and does his best to show that to them. He’s all around an amazing human let alone an employee. He’s always working for the best environment from what I observe. I’ve never seen him slack lol…literally - he’s always doing work! He takes his job seriously on all levels. If he wants a promotion, he absolutely is paving the way for it and if Starbucks doesn’t do it, I might offer him a spot once i get rolling on my business. His energy extends to those he’s around, and he’s strong enough to shape the energy when it’s not UP! And he can tackle the tough situations and keep a positive attitude no matter what. RESPECT! This man truly cares for individuals on a deeper level than most. And he knows how to deal with everyone - high value individual for sure. Starbucks is EXTREMELY blessed to have a loyal guy like him on the team. I’ve had wonderful experiences with other various staff members as well. Have patience on these people if you’re able. It gets busy, and lots of new people training on the go, if you address an issue with Elijah I can be sure he would be honored to make it right and feel welcome here. Thanks to the whole team here for making my transition to Sedona a pleasant and productive one. I am...
Read moreOrdered 2 drinks they forgot to put coffee in it. When we informed the window bsrists as we were handing the batista our drinks back thinking they would be remade but instead the girl turned away all huffy puffy and brought us back 2 little cups with a half of shot of coffee in each cup and said I charged your card 2.50 cents, when I stad to say something before I could finish she got in our face and wanted to be confrontational by saying WHAT... she left it up to us to put the half shots we got in the drinks ourselves. Then needless to say we could not get the lid back on. The reason we go to Starbucks IS FOR A PLEASENT EXSPERIANCE THAT THEY ARE SUPOSED TO BE TRAINED FOR and the suposedly consistance in drnks.. we pay more for drinks at starbucks for the conviance of card reliads on phone and because it's supposed to be consistent and you know what you get each time but hasn't been that way lately. I wish i would of gotten her name but she was very big rough and masculin with very short shaved hair. I'm really disappointed in the lack of training starbucks is proving in customer service or no management follow up on employees service. I spend 50.00 to 100.00 week in coffee for myself and my customers. No coffee in drinks no apologies and make the customer pay again for the mistakes, don't fill up the drinks giving you a12 Oz in a 16oz cup. Also disappointment that star bucks corporate doesn't follow up with customer reviews to improve service or care about customers. Our to care to...
