My girlfriend wanted to check out Raising Cane's as we both have never been. So we decided to try it tonight, and we were very pleased we did. Even though the restaurant looked very full, our order was taken very fast. I was watching the employees cooking in front and they were all happy and getting the food out with no one complaining. When we got our food, it was so fresh and hot. The Chicken Tender Meal with three tenders is a very decent size meal. It comes with Crinkle Fries and Coleslaw and Texas Toast. The tenders were all white meat, very tender and juicy. Not dry or rubbery. No fat or any cartilage or anything gross like that I hate to have on a tender or chicken anything to be honest. There's a slight seasoning in the crispy batter that's coated on the tender. Not too salty or peppery. Just a slight hint of spice. The tenders come with their signature Cane's Sauce which I do like. Love I'm not sure. I did not try enough of it to form a super solid opinion either way. Just that I thought it would be like a tangy big Mac style sauce or something but it's definitely not any of those things and in fact I'm not really sure what it is. But it's not bad so there's that. The Coleslaw was also pretty surprising to me. As it was actually to me very good. It wasn't super tangy or had an extra vinegar like taste to it or a standard Cole slaw dressing flavor. It is actually just a pretty good almost home style like Coleslaw. The French Fries are pretty standard nothing extravagant but nothing bad either. And last but not least, that Texas Toast, sigh, I only had a bite to try it, I could have eaten the whole damn thing but carbs ugh. That bread is something else. Oh and I almost forgot, we got green lemonade for St. Patrick's Day 🍀☘️☘️🍀☘️🍀 I do recommend this place if you are the low-key, laid back let's go get chicken tenders and fries, and chill type of person. If not, hey it's cool 😎 I get it. And as always, I review places from the Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery standpoint. If you are going here to look for something healthy, this place is not it. I took one bite of my chicken tender and I was automatically full. That's Weight loss surgery life. Something I'm used to and ok with. My food is always much cheaper and I usually share meals with my girlfriend as I can never finish one myself. I opted to get my own this time and bring the rest home for my girlfriend's parents and maybe give a tender to the dog 🐶 because the dog definitely knew what we came...
Read moreReally wanted to take the time write a review about our great experience tonight. But first, I need to talk about what happened a few days ago:
My family and I are big fans of this restaurant, my sister was visiting us from out of town, and we wanted her to experience Raising Cain’s for the first time. We ordered dine-in, but our food came out in take-out boxes. Believe it or not, this affected the quality of the food. Maybe it sat in the boxes a little too long, but the condensation in the box made the fries and toast soggy. The boxes were also too big to fit in the trash containers so many people were leaving them outside next to the trash cans.
My sister leaves town tomorrow, so tonight my son said, “Dad, let’s give Cain’s one more chance, because I want her to experience how good the food can be.”
So, tonight we showed up and ordered our food, and as I was about to pay my son noticed that everyone in the dinning area was eating out of take-out boxes again. He mentioned it to me so I mentioned to Dylan (our cashier) what happened to our food last time, and if our food was going to be served in take-out boxes again, could they leave the top open so our food didn’t get soggy this time. Dylan said, “I’m so sorry that happened to your food last time. We were pretty busy earlier, but things have calmed down so I’m going to get some trays and food baskets washed for you.”
The food was delicious! Toast and fries (and everything else) was perfect! I was so impressed that Dylan went above and beyond what I even asked for and actually cared that we would have a good experience and took pride in making sure that we (and everyone else that came in after us) had clean dine-in trays/baskets. Great job to Dylan and the entire Seekonk...
Read more11/11/24: went thru the drive thru for 3 meals in my brand new 2025 vehicle. The woman working the drive thru window spills soda ALL OVER the front interior of my car. Doesn’t apologize, nothing. I was in complete shock. Get home and contact Raising Canes online requesting they cover a car detail. Shockingly, I hear back within 24 hours, a gentleman agreeing to this request. Tells me I’ll hear back from someone else? I hear back from Kaylee from Raising Canes who tells me Liberty Mutual will be reaching out to me. I hear back from 3 people within 24 hours then completed without a car detail. NOBODY has returned my call. I have even left messages asking if they’re not covering it, to at least let me know. NOTHING.
1/9/25 To update from review posting: Liberty Mutual is their insurance. They have 0 communication skills. I finally speak to Casey from LM ONCE after this incident a month later & she asks me for photos of the mess (I took none because I was focused on cleaning the mess) but they also have cameras in the drive thru so that should be sufficient itself! She tells me to send a quote from a local detail shop to some email. Did that same day she asks.. SURPRISE! No response for weeks!!! I call her again, leave a message. Emailed that email again… her manager calls me to tell me they denied the request 2 months after the incident after being told by Raising Canes themselves they would detail my car! Then- the comment on here to call that number. I tried twice, was connected to Customer Relations, then told to contact them online by an automated message. WOW. So much time and energy from a customer for their wrong doing and 0 accountability from LM and Raising Canes.
0 stars! Do...
