My wife and I went in to order a sandwich...since it was too late to make dinner. The 2 people that were there were already working on a big order for takeout...so we had to wait about 10-15 minutes before we ordered. I get it! While she was still cutting meat and preparing the takeout order, she asked if she could take my order. I started to tell her...and then asked her if she wanted to write it down. She stopped for a moment...and picked up an order pad. My order was simple, 2 Mikes Famous Phillies. One of them was to have raw onions instead of grilled and to add mushrooms. The 2nd was to have the sandwich as is..but instead of red and green pepper and jalopena peppers ...just use Banana peppers. I couldnt understand her when she replied...but I'm older...so I figured...I just can't hear! So I made it very explicit...and supposedly...she understood, We get home. My sandwich had ZERO raw onions...only grilled...and no mushrooms. My other half had the proper sandwich..but included red bell peppers...which KILL her stomach. The folks there are very pleasant. They are NOT rude. The young man at checkout assured me that the sandwiches were correct. They were not. I don't know if they just don't understand...don't care...or just don't listen...but the sandwiches sucked. Dry...without the requested additions. Now...the fact that we both had hard pains in our stomachs within 3 hours is not able to be traced to the sandwiches..but it's the only foods we ate together all day.
I hate to say...that this is the last time I give Jersey Mikes a chance, This experience is NOT the first time I've had an order prepared incorrectly. Although pleasant...these kids...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience I have ever had with customer mistreatment. Unfortunately no one wears name tags so I can only refer to the employee as the girl with the blue hair. Beware of her!! If they are busy, she cannot handle the pressure and snaps at customers. I wasn’t the only one she got snippy with while I was there. After waiting over 30 minutes I simply asked if my order was going to be made shortly as I had already watched several people come in after me and leave before me. I am a very patient person and I absolutely understand being busy. If she had just let me know that I hadn’t been forgotten, with any ounce of respect, I would have smiled, understood and waited. I only had 2 regular sized subs, placed via mobile order. Nothing crazy. She proceeded to snap at me for asking and got very nasty with her attitude. I went on to wait another 15 minutes, until she finally threw the bags on the counter and didn’t say a word to me. I asked for a bag and she tossed that at me too. I went to my car to check that the order was correct and both subs were totally wrong! Like not a little wrong…but she switched everything around completely. I went back in to tell them it was wrong and she tells me I need to wait through everyone again. I asked for a refund and when the “manager” came to refund, didn’t even offer so much as an apology. If you visit this location and this person is there, I suggest you just walk right back out and go to Tyrone where you’ll have a wayyy...
Read moreJust plain awful experience. We ordered via uber eats and a few minutes prior to scheduled delivery, got a, call from uber, stating jersey Mike's would be unable to fulfill the order, because they were out of roast beef. However, it was stated the other item would be delivered if I wanted.
Since there are two people here, it made no sense to cancel the other sandwich.
So delivery comes and guess what? I was STILL charged for BOTH items. 30 seconds after hand off, I got the pmt notification via text. Yep. 31 bucks for a regular chicken Philly and nothing else.
At this point, I will avoid Jersey Mike's like the plague and suggest to all others as well, avoid them or at the very least check your receipts.
Uber says JM has the ability to correct orders and this should not have happened. Now I have to wait until JM agrees the order was incorrect before any consideration of refund, DESPITE the fact THEY informed uber the order would not be fully fulfilled.
