*Do NOT pass this place up or you are seriously missing out!!! I noticed it as I passed by, looked up reviews, and decided to turn around and I'm so glad I did. Most of the time I do not trust reviews in touristy areas because it seems so many people come from places with less than great food. However, The Cinnamon Bread Factory is amazing! I tried 3 different things: the cinnamon bread, apple fritter, and cinnamon roll. Cinnamon bread: I have never had a cinnamon bread quite like this before and nothing that comes anywhere close to being this good. Most cinnamon breads I have had are like regular bread with some cinnamon mixed in. This is lighter and less dense than other cinnamon bread, with a sweet cinnamon glaze and crunch on the outside. It's the perfect texture, perfect amount of sweetness, and perfect amount of cinnamon. Apple fritter: This is one of the best apple fritters I've ever had. It is not dry at all like some I have had previously, has a great fried apple taste, and is really quite big. Cinnamon roll: I tried it without warming it up and I can tell that once warm with the icing melting a bit, it will level up how good it is. It has a great texture, not too light and not too dense, it is moist, has a great cinnamon flavor, and the level of sweetness is just right. The icing did not look as great before I tried it, but after having a bite I think the icing goes great with this cinnamon roll and again will be even better once I have heated it up. This is overall a great classic cinnamon roll. The shop doesn't look like much from the outside, the inside is small, but it doesn't need to be any bigger or different. There was no one at the counter when I arrived, but Stephanie (the owner) called out from the back and said she was coming letting me know immediately that she knew she had a customer. She greeted me with a smile, talked about her baked goods, said she had fresh warm cinnamon bread from the oven (2:00 in the afternoon), and was very personable and helpful. She even told me her name and said that she was the owner. When I got out to the car I tried the cinnamon bread. I immediately got out and went back inside because I needed to make sure she was going to be open before I leave town so I can buy more to take home for myself, friends, and family. Do yourself a favor and be sure to stop by here if you're in town. You will be so...

If yโall know the Smoky Mountains, then you surely know Dollywoodโand if youโve been to Dollywood, Iโd bet my last biscuit youโve had that cinnamon bread. You know the one: warm, gooey, dripping in icing, and capable of turning even the strongest willpower into a sugar-fueled puddle. But letโs be honest, after hoofinโ it up and down those hills more times than a hound chasinโ a rabbit, a body gets tired.
Now imagine this: all that sweet, Southern goodnessโand betterโwithout climbinโ a single hill. Thatโs right, yโall. The Cinnamon Bread Factory is the answer to every sugar-cravinโ prayer youโve ever whispered. Not only do they do cinnamon bread, they master it. Dare I sayโฆ it blows Dollywoodโs version outta the water like a catfish jumpinโ from a pond.
And Lord have mercy, theyโve got stuffed cinnamon bread. Stuffed, yโall. Like someone took your childhood dreams and baked โem in a loaf. And just when you think it couldnโt get any better, let me introduce you to their bread puddingโa warm, custardy slice of heaven that tastes like a hug from your grandma in dessert form. And donโt even get me started on the apple frittersโฆ crispy, golden, and glazed like they were kissed by angels.
If you leave this place with just one loaf, youโve made a grave mistake. You need at least threeโone for now, one for the car ride, and one for when the sadness hits and you realize itโs a long drive back for another fix.
Oh, and the folks who run the place? Sweet as sweet tea in July and twice as refreshing. Customer service like this is rarer than a henโs tooth these days.
Bottom line? This place gets a 20 outta 10, bless it. Donโt just walkโscoot, run, crawl if you have toโbut get yourself to the Cinnamon Bread Factory. Your taste buds will rise up and sing the...
ย ย ย Read moreWe had been craving a cinnamon bun all day after being in the GSMNP. Google recommended this one and off we went. Small little place and they still had options avaliable wchic was nice as it was 3:30pm. I got the maple cinnamon bun and my husband got the Boston cream. She was informative and sparked up a pleasant conversation. She discounted the cinnamon but because it wasn't as fresh which was kind. The edges were a little stale but the center was delicious. Just want I had been craving. The Boston cream, sandwich, was also good. The cream inside...
