We stopped here on Independence Day for an early dinner and tasting. The restaurant was nearly empty with most of the tables having leftover food and dirty dishes on them. It took quite some time to be seated. It seemed that they only had two servers working plus a bartender up front. Our waitress, Talia came to take our order. While starting to give our order, she stopped us and said she had to go get some paper to write it down. For drinks, two Coors Light beers were ordered in a bottle plus our food and waters. After a lengthy amount of time, Talia came out with two draft beers. When explaining that bottled beer was ordered she told us that they didn’t have that beer in bottles. Two bottles of a different beer were ordered. She told the bartender and then went into the kitchen. The bartender placed the bottled beers on the bar to be picked up and brought to our table. They sat on the bar for 5 or 6 minutes before a member of our party decided to go up and retrieve them himself before they got any warmer. When our pretzel bites came out, they were very dark, but not bad tasting. Thinking that since the restaurant seemed to be short staffed, Talia may also be in the back cooking, we asked her. She advised that she wasn’t cooking the food. She barely came to check on us. In fact, after finishing our food and sitting, we had to ask someone to call her out of the kitchen so we could pay. By that time, the bar and restaurant were closed at 1800hrs. (6pm) as it seemed like the rest of the stores in Tanger Outlets. We couldn’t enjoy our tasting there that day. The food was good, but the service was nothing like we have had there before. Whatever was in the kitchen seemed to be much more important than...
Read moreThis would have totally been a 5 star review, but our server was horrible. We went for dinner on a Tuesday and the restaurant was not full. We got seated right away and Dante was our server and my husband went to the restroom and I was hardly seated before he came over to get my drink order. I asked him for some time and he came back after my husband got to the table. We ordered drinks and they were delivered quickly. Dinner came out a short time later and it was mine and my husband’s food, but we were missing my son’s dinner. He walked away and we assumed he was going to get it, but he didn’t. He came back and asked if everything was ok and we had to ask for our son’s meal. My husband asked about a beer on tap and Dante asked if he wanted to try it and he brought him out a full beer instead of a small amount to try. After that, he didn’t come back until we had been sitting and waiting for quite some time. He dropped off boxes and a check and disappeared for awhile (he had a total of 2 tables including us). Despite this, the food was amazing. I had the bacon jam burger and the junction 35 sauce was amazing! I also added queso and bacon to my fries and they were amazing. My husband had a BBQ platter and it was delicious! We did stop and have a tasting of their moonshines and other spirits. I highly recommend the moonshine and the black cherry soaked cherries. I forgot to ask if they will ship! Overall a great experience, food was amazing, drinks were good. It was truly the service that made our...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place as we shopping at the start of our Spring Break. We are so glad we did.
My husband and I love a smash burger and fries. We shared the the Mac Daddy. We both agreed it was probably one of the best burgers we've ever had. The Mac and cheese was good and the bacon jam was delicious. The whole thing was great. The fries were amazing too; seasoned so well. We did a flight of moonshine what we enjoyed also: bomb pop, blackberry, peach, and sour gummy worm. Billy Joe was a server and did a nice job.
We went back to the outlets on our last day of vacation. We spent a good 30 minutes looking for someplace to eat then decided to head back to Junction 35. We ordered the same burger to share and it was the same great quality. We ordered another flight of moonshine/whiskey/ vodka: black cherry and raspberry whiskey, orange creamsicle moonshine, and Bam Bam vodka. All good, but The Bam Bam was AWESOME; tasted just like fruity pebbles. Rayon was our server, he was nice and did well although stretched too thin being bartender, answering phones, and waiting tables. When we went to pay the bill I noticed that it said free tastings. We questioned this and were told if you order food. you get a free tasting. So, we headed to the other side.
We had Cheryl for our intoxacologist. She did a great job! We were able to taste many flavors. Just wish we knew about the deal on our first visit.
We will definitely we back, if we're through the...
