We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our vacation. The pricing was excellent, the room was super clean and very nice, and the customer service from every single person that worked there was amazing.
First and foremost, this is located right in the middle of Pigeon Forge on the strip, convenient to every single attraction there is. You can walk to many things or it’s a very short drive otherwise.
We had the loft unit that had a bed upstairs and a bed downstairs and it was great and fun for my daughter and I. Each area has its own TV and had its own air conditioning unit. The hot water was hot, the water pressure was good, the fresh towels daily were great and the AC was cold.
The lobby includes a little snack center where you can buy ice cream, microwavable foods and some dry goods at really good prices, so if you’re hungry and don’t feel like making a trip anywhere you can partake without leaving the hotel. We took advantage of it during our nightly wind down while we watched a movie and got ice cream, popcorn, drinks, and mac & cheese. 🤪
The Wi-Fi signal was strong and fast, and I used it to work remotely every morning.
The beds were amazingly comfortable and even more so than my own plush bed at home.
Both covered and uncovered parking are available on site with covered parking being the most ample.
The daily breakfast was awesome and included eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and either sausage or bacon. Also muffins, dry cereals, oatmeal, bagels, and pastries. And the coffee was good, too! It was nice not to have to go search for breakfast somewhere every morning, and it was better than expected at no additional charge.
My only one complaint, that isn’t worth a lower star rating, is that the elevator was a tad slow for my likes. And that’s because it’s in almost constant use. There’s only one elevator car and it’s pretty busy most of the time shuttling people up and down between the floors. It’s simply accommodates the facility adequately and there’s nothing they can do about this. Many of us took to the stairs on the way down. We were on the 5th floor and it was no big deal. I’m impatient and could have waited but didn’t bawk at the short walk, which was faster than the elevator, downstairs (my daughter and I raced - her in the elevator and me on the stairs).
We chatted with two other families that have made multiple vacation stays at that same hotel; both of which stated it’s their favorite place to stay in the area.
I highly recommend this place and will stay there again on...
Read moreIf I could give this 0 stars I would….The only decent thing about this hotel is the location. We booked this trip (kinda last minute) and chose this location because we have stayed here when it was newer and had no issues whatsoever, however this time was different. When we first arrived they had the AC set one 61( keep in mind it was about 20 degrees outside) it took us forever to make the heat come on and when it did it left a very musty smell in the room, along with the smell of old cigarette smoke. We left to go get dinner the elevator was a nightmare to get on and off and when you could it always had an awful smell to it. However our main issue was when we looked above the whirlpool bathtub it was very clear there was a leak of some sort, and some mold all over the area. We let the front desk know, nothing was done only was told the manager wasn’t in, it would be the following day. So when we woke up my Fiancé started saying how his throat was irritated and he had a mild headache, we didn’t think much of this as we thought it was just a head cold due to being outside in the windy cold weather for new years. We went on about our day and he started feeling much better, we return to the hotel room for a few hours to wait on our friends so we could go eat dinner, just being back in the room for an hour we both started feeling incredibly ill, throats were irritated, shortness of breath, and headache. We left to go get dinner and I still had a mild headache throughout but overall we felt better… but when we returned, we both got worse yet again. After trying to communicate we decided to cut our trip short, and leave around midnight to drive 5 hours back home. When we checked out we made this very clear to the front desk staff yet again and showing him the photos, he stated he was the only one there and the manager wouldn’t be back until the next morning, he claimed he left a note with the issue and my phone number for Stacey (the manager) to contact us. I have yet to hear anything from them. The front desk claimed this hotel had just been renovated but nothing looked updated since our first stay. I will NEVER stay here again, the costumer service is HORRIBLE, it was dirty, smelly, and overall just an...
Read moreWhere to begin! We arrive at the hotel on a Monday afternoon. My brother goes to check in and is informed the elevator is broken but should be fixed by tomorrow. He asked if we could get different rooms on a lower floor and was told nothing was available. I was recovering from a broken foot and 3 of the 4 of us are over 60. The stairs to the 4th floor were brutal! The next day elevator still not fixed. Came down the stairs out of breath and the staff joked that stair arobics started after breakfast. Not funny! We came back from a day out asked the desk if the elevator was fixed and she replied " No, but the elevator works at our other hotel " and she walked away. For 2 more days the elevator was down with the promise of it being fixed the next day. No compensation offered, they clearly knew we were unhappy. I will say Cesar did assist with our luggage upstairs the first day, and said what a great view we had from our loft room. Hmm if looking at 2 parking lots with oil stains and a storage container is a great view then okay. The tall windows didn't have blinds on the so the light shined in all night long which was annoying. Our stay was over we checked out again nothing offered for the inconvenience of the elevator being broken. Good riddance! Filled out the survey. Received a reply that the elevator was now fixed and guests that asked for a discount received one. Well who knew we had to ask for compensation!!! Good customer service is going above and beyond and exceeding your customers expectations. Not here! If you stay here remember to ask for a discount. Oh and don't call corporate 🙄 they will tell you they can't do anything and" if you have mobility issues you shouldn't book on the 4th floor in case there is a fire"! Booked rooms before I broke my foot and would have been fine if the elevator worked any of our days there! If there was a fire I would only be going down the stairs once! Not for 4 days! This hotel has the most uncaring people I have ever seen. No empathy at all as long as they get your money it is all...
