As a born and raised Alaskan, there seem to be fewer and fewer restaurants in our beautiful tourist focused towns that live up to the expectation of amazing experienced here in the last frontier. Red's Burgers goes up above and beyond what it means to be an Alaskan establishment and a food service that truly places the customer's experience above all else. Nothing on the menu is short of fantastic. Nothing on the menu is unbearably priced like so many surrounding establishments that serve mediocrity at 30-40$ a plate. You're going to wait 10-15 minutes for your order, but that is because they are cooking it absolutely fresh for you to the exact order you put in. Red's, thank you for the service you provide your customers and their hard-earned dollars. Who would want freezer burnt restaurant salmon from last year's season when you can get a mouthwatering garlic burger, fresh fries, and a delicious peach milk shake- all fresh hot, all delicious, all...
Read moreStrolling through Seward one day in the middle of June 2022, and while doing so, I came across Red’s Burgers. Upon looking them up online, they definitely looked right up my alley so I decided to make a visit.

Overall, if you make it out to Seward in the summer, come hit up Red’s! Definitely my favorite restaurant I went to during my time in Seward a...

I cannot find a peanut butter milkshake anywhere that holds a candle to this one. It is thick, and perfect. As far as a vegetarian burger - amazing! and yes to the generous portion of fries. It's the perfect spot to hit once you get off Mt. Marathon after a long hike...or just for a casual comfort dinner. Yes it might take :45 minutes to get your food, but it is worth it and anywhere else in town is going to take probably even more time. There have been several instances when I was waiting and told people considering leaving that it's much better...
