Cattleman's Roadhouse — Restaurant in Shepherdsville

My family and I visited on Sunday after a day at Kart Kountry we were looking for Texas roadhouse but decided to come here I love the ribeye you have...we arrive there only two ppl in the waiting area was told there was a 20 min wait(not a big deal) we preceded to wait until others started getting called before us! While waiting on the table we noticed there was a special being ran for 15.99 for a 6oz. Steak All you can eat salad and 1 side. So that's what my family and I got we all got the same thing no alcohol drink just sodas.we place our order and went to the salad bar for our salad which I was thrilled about cause it looked really really good..so on arrival our Food came my husband went first to the bar and then I went after him I get back to the table about to take the first bite and my husband started spitting out his food I looked up and asked him what was wrong and there was a peice of glass he pulled out of his mouth a sharp piece of glass I immediately rushed to find the Mangers they came asking where did it come from???? So we like the salad bar?! It ended up on his plate! To be put in his mouth?! So I'm confused. So they asking us what did you get?! Another confused ? So after they kept there standing for 15mins looking like we put glass in our own food and questioning us like there are the victims we finally said you all need to close the bar which they never did! That glass couldn't have came from anywhere! And by you not doing so more ppl could have been hurt! Thank God my husband was NOT! That could have went bad real quick! Not only did they not own up to the glass but decided to only take $15.00 off the ticket and the ticket still had a $58.00 balance on it! when we didnt get to enjoy something that was part of our meal! I didnt even eat my meal either We got a very weird sorry and not I hope you come back to see us in which we will not be doing so! This was wrong on so many levels and no one has own or took accountability for their actions not even cooperate and I love their ribeyes steaks and its such a shame how one visit can change your life! Please go to places that really value their guest cause Obviously...

After visiting multiple times with good experiences each and every time today is the first time we sat on the bar side. Actually, I was unaware they had a bar. We had a nice, sweet, very informative,and tentative server named Kim. She came out and checked on us, made sure the food was good, but wasn’t overbearing. I asked for a 10-ounce medium rare sirloin steak and a big baked potato with extra butter. My boyfriend ordered chicken strips with a side of fries. After placing our order, Kim asked if we wanted the salad bar. Until today, I was never aware they had a salad bar because never once was I mentioned our offer prior visit. So for 3.99 you can add the salad bar to your meal. Reaching the salad bar, I was amazed at all the variety of different things that they had to offer. I have to admit the first sirloin steak delivered was overcooked, but Kim had it sent back, and a nice fresh and superb a medium rare state was served. It was absolutely mouthwatering and so delicious. The manager actually came out and brought it to me. He then asked what my side was because he was going to bring out an entirely new baked potato even though I had completely devoured the first one. He had a playful side and a nice smile. He was very courteous, he then asked if I was sure I didn't want another one, he then said, you can take it home with you. I let him know with a smile and a laugh that wouldn’t be necessary because I was already full. The name of the manager was Michael. I was surprised at the service that we received because we came so late in the night it was closer to closing time. Before receiving our check our server brought out a nice fresh batch of rolls because in the beginning of ordering we had expressed that we liked being able to take extra rolls home, so it was a nice surprise and then she actually remembered I’m bringing it all on her own without us having to remind her.
