Denied access to the bride at her own Bachelorette party.
Wednesday August 17th myself as well as ELEVEN customers stopped at this bar during our sip n cycle which was booked for my bachelorette party. I spent the evening drinking and enjoying my time with family and friends from out of town before my wedding that Friday.
This time is so valued not only because it was the week of my wedding but because my Husband is active duty military and weāre only able to come home once or twice a year. Everything was wonderful until we came to Tommy Jacks.
We weāre at Tommy Jackson back in January for the burger battle and was served without question. Unfortunately I was denied drinks at my Bachelorette party. Iām 22 years old and will be 23 in a month. My ID is a Florida ID when I got my license I was 20 so it was still vertical I asked the women at the GOVERNMENT office if I would need a new one once I turn 21 she informed me that itās NOT necessary since the license is valid until 2028.
When we got to the bar and he checked my ID he said it wasnāt vailed and could easily be a fake. It was also made very clear this bar tender was from Florida so he should know the laws. I then said ādo I need my military ID to prove to you that itās really me?ā The bar tender then asked if I had it with me I told him I left it at home because all I brought was a small purse with my phone one debit card and my license which was consider valid there in January i only mentioned the second ID out of sarcasm because Iāve never had this issue.
My family and friends left the bar with me to go back to our sip N cycle where my ID was valid. As we were leaving their were customers saying āSeriously sheās the brideā we even had people climbing the fence telling us to come back inside and that they would buy me my drinks since they wouldnāt serve me. My friends and family screamed at them from the road telling them no as we drove away.
Iām extremely disappointed by this but it didnāt ruin our night we went on to have fun at places that know what a real drivers licenses looks like. Although moving forward when my husband and I come to visit our in laws we will not be coming here. I would also like to add that my ID was used at a Florida liquor store the week before we left where the scanned it and they...

Put it back in my phone case that takes Forever to open and close. Had a night with my friends. An hour later i get the bartenders attention for my friend who wants a soda whos being ignored before turning around about to leave for the night. The bar tender tries to ask for my ID when im trying to leave. Trying to go home. I was like held hostage by Karen supreme just trying to leave for the night. I think she thought I meant going to the patio but I was being pretty clear with the "leaving" and "going home please can I leave I don't want to be here I'm not ordering or staying I am heading out I'm over 21 but im just trying to leave" was very scary I thought I was going to have to pay a ransom š i think they Really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFriday night, my husband and I stopped in after midnight for a few shots after I got off of work. The petite blonde bartender messed up our drinks twice, and spoke to us as if it was our fault and was rude about it. I was willing to over-look it until my husband went back in to order just me a shot, but upon signing the tab, he couldn't get the pen to work so he took another pen off a tab which was already signed and sitting on the bar.. and the same bartender decided to throw a handful of pens at him. We really liked this bar, but after this experience, we will not be returning as long as this girl with a bad attitude is there. As a bartender, I can't imagine treating a patron so...
