We had a group of roughly 30. A good part of a wedding party stopped in for some drinks after the reception. As I stood at the bar with money in hand, talking to a long time family friend, waiting for the bartender, he approached me and said that he will not serve me. My friend politely asked Why? What did she do? The bartender replied she snapped her fingers! Now, I do not recall snapping my fingers, and if I did, I assure you, it was done unconsciously, and certainly was not meant to be insulting in any way. So I retreated from the bar and back to my husband, close to tears having been loudly and publicly humiliated in front of many family and friends. I continued to do my best to keep on smiling and carry on. Being with such a large party, I quickly found that getting a drink was not an issue, in fact I received a number of them almost immediately from family and friends in efforts to try to rectify the situation. Our party spent well over a thousand dollars in this establishment in roughly 3 hours. If it had been up to me. I wouldn’t have spent a penny after the way I was treated. I am happy that my absence from the bar could prevent any further triggers to the man bun blank of a bartender and that he could avoid crawling into the corner and curling up in the fetal position and sucking his thumb for the rest of the night. I would encourage the owner of this establishment to consider the fact that his bartenders “feelings” could have cost him well over a grand. And I wonder how many times feelings get in the way of business. This bartender could have just simply said. “Don’t snap at me, or I won’t serve you.” And I would have apologized profusely. I have never been treated so poorly. The...

Food: Went for the Friday Fish Fry and was left disappointed. Plate was mostly fries and it's not all you can eat, with a price tag of $24 per plate. Fries were fine, saving this from being a 1 star. Breading on the perch was mushy from grease, causing it to have an almost slimy texture. The perch itself was chewy, stretchy, and lacking flavor, like a reheat from the freezer. If it wasn't for being late (8 PM), and not having eaten all day, I wouldn't have eaten it out of desperation.
Service: This was somehow worse than the food. The entire interaction with our server felt rushed despite it not being busy. We ordered an after dinner drink from the bar directly since she took our money and never returned. Our server noticed and told us if we're to sit at the dining tables near the bar, we need to order through her. Which would've been easier had she asked or stopped by. So we got up and took two open spots at the bar. Weirdly enough, after we left our spot, a small group came in, ordered drinks from the bar and sat where we were. The server walked near them several times and never said a word? Whatever.
Atmosphere: This is your typical Wisconsin bar, except this one has more rules that aren't explained in the manual. Saw a poor guy get scolded for pulling up a chair a foot away from an empty dining table next to the bar. They got him a red stool instead. After witnessing that and catching heat from our server about rules that only applied to us specifically, we spent the remainder of our time feeling...
Read moreNot a Good Experience!!! With covid in full bloom we we seated in the worst possible location...right next to the photo booth, right next to the trashcan and right in the of traffic flow....none of which were 6 feet away.... On top of that, inconsiderate people were pushing past our table to the booth and the trashcan. The waiter was over worked trying to work our table and inside tables at the same time...not serving either well. At one point the cleanup staff had to bring us our drinks...after placing our order we had to fend off flies, mosquitoes and bees that none of the other tables had to deal with. While the drinks and burgers were good, we had to ask for the bacon again for the bacon that was originally ordered. The fish in the fish and chips was bland and dry. At the end of the meal, we spoke to the shift manager.....long story short...he was only minimally apologetic and made excuses for the poor service, the photo booth, the bugs, the trashcan, and the traffic....When confronted at the end, he was unwilling to make any meaningful adjustment or accommodation for this situation....We left very disappointed!
If you eat there and have an issue or do not like where you are seated or what you are served do not wait! Speak up and speak to the manager immediately and request the the issue is resolved. Do Not close the bill before the issue is resolved.
Good Luck and be very careful. Hopefully your experience will be...
