Beautiful view of the valley down to the village, right next to the ‘skittle’ gondola I think it’s called. Excellent, positive attitude service, even when understaffed. MEZCAL MARGARITA is worth the extra $ if you like mezcal or have never had one and want to try a delicious version. Indulge because it’s rare to drink one this good. CHIPS AND SALSA as an app will not disappoint. Fresh chips, as expected, but it’s the salsa that tops it all- fresh and with roasted/grilled tomatoes or something. Incredibly delicious with a great spice!! VEGGIE TACO flavors were well balanced and flavorful, so much more than the FISH TACOS (mahi mahi), but I couldn’t figure out what would make the fish one better, maybe less fish, add more cabbage, or shred fish and replace the chopped avocado with an avocado purée? Idk, but order the VEGGIE TACOS if you want flavor and fullness. The mushrooms, zucchini, sauce, etc will melt in your mouth and destroy the taco shell but so worth the mess. CHURRO (dessert is only available for dinner - please change that Venga Venga! We’d love a dessert at lunch, late afternoon, or at happy hour.) We didn’t understand that we could’ve chosen vanilla ice cream and hopefully you do better than us and order vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate. The dipping sauces are chocolate, caramel, and whipping cream. Spoiler Alert: churros are fresh with the perfect crisp and have a caramel center!!! (We wanted the tres leche but it wasn’t available.) Enjoy! I’ll be back when I visit Snowmass again.

Very lively and definitely a place to visit if you're in Snowmass. They do Mexican food in an upscale manner. I only give them 4 stars because I thought everything was a little more salty than I like. We started with the margaritas - the house with mango and the spicy orange. I honestly did not taste the mango at all. As a regular house margarita, it was delicious! The spicy orange was too much tequila, pretty much non-existent orange flavor and the tajin rim didn't really go with it. I love my margaritas strong but that one was too strong and my friend just about managed to finish it with lots of lemon. For food, she ordered the Mexican tortilla soup with chicken and the nachos. I ordered the chicken zarape. I'd had my eye on it since I looked up their menu when we were looking at places to eat before the trip! The soup was delicious but salty for me. The nachos were delicious and heavy. My friend didn't finish much and about 1.5 days later, there's still some left. The sauce on the nachos was great but heavy. The chicken zarape was the star! The sauce was delicious, the rice and beans provided a good contrast to the sharp flavors and chicken was well cooked. I finished my whole plate which is a rarity for me! For dessert, we shared a tres leche which was really good but just a huge portion so we couldn't finish it all. But it's worth ordering! Only disappointing part of the whole dinner was watching the Bills lose to the Chiefs after leading but it was an epic game!

We stopped by during our stay at the National Disabled Veterans Winter Snow Clinic. First off, I acknowledge them for being so welcoming to the veterans that were in attendance. Second...the food....OMG!! We were brought chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. The chips were made fresh and still nice and warm. The salsa had a wonderful roasted flavor. I think I had some chips with my salsa! I ordered El Machete. It is a huitlacoche quesadilla with oaxaca cheese covered in chile pasilla sauce and chile guajillo sauce, served with crema fresca and mushrooms. WOW! The flavor in this dish was INCREDIBLE!! I had to go back and order it a second time! My brother ordered the Barbacoa Burrito with beef barbacoa, pinto beans, mexican rice and served with pico de gallo, a delicious guacamole, pulla sauce, and morita crema. Of course I had to try his and see if it was as good as mine! And YES! Again, those bold tasty flavors were AMAZING! Although, my brother kept trying to steal some of my dish, too. The margarita was also FANTASTIC! It was nice to taste that they definitely did not skimp on the alcohol either like many restaurants do. I was feeling mighty content after my meal....which also was such generous servings that we had some of the tasty goodness for an evening snack. Yes.....we will ABSOLUTELY be back when we attend next year's Clinic. Well done, Venga Venga!!

Y'all know that I RARELY write an unfavorable review, but this one was completely warranted.

We came here several years ago and the service was great, hence why we came back.

This time...quite simply the service was very subpar.

We sat out on the beautiful outdoor patio and ordered a round of drinks and some chips and guacamole.

Our drinks came out relatively quickly, as did the chips. We waited a bit on the guac...they used to make it table-side but I guess not anymore.

It eventually made its way to our table with a side of attitude...from our waiter.

Anyway, when we ran out of chips for our guac we tried (on numerous occasions) to flag him down. To no avail, my friend finally went up to the chip bar, empty basket in hand and waited, and waited, and waited.

Tired of waiting she had to "scoop & self-serve" and as she was coming back we learned that the table next to us was also dissatisfied with their service.

So here's the real kicker...it wasn't that busy and there were several other employees just chatting away while all this was going down. Not a good look or business model at all.

Ok, this may actually be the most cringe part, but we witnessed our waiter pour water into a glass then stick his finger into it to take out a bug or whatever and serve it to a table. Ewww.

It took forever to get our check and yeah, maybe the guy was just having a bad day but we saw him roll his eyes at us. We were kind and as patient as you can get, so not professional at all considering he also spilled another persons marg all over my friends new shoes and leg.

Bottom line...he's a representation of the restaurant, et al and should excuse himself if he can't perform his job.

Btw, I will not be disclosing his name because I'm sure he needs his job. Let's just hope this review can be better served as a learning experience.

All said and done, it doesn't mean that we won't go back, but we're hopeful Venga Venga will heed this review, re-group and make it a better...

Our first time in Snowmass Village, first time trying out this amazing place. First off, the drinks are on point, the Pepino with Tajín on the rim did it for me, sitting on the patio with the sunny hitting us plus the fire pit on. Talk about perfect view and amazing food. I had the enchiladas divorciados and my husband had the Tinga tacos they were bomb, Mauro was great! Now, tonight is out last night & yes we came back for a second trip on our last night. We drove all the way to Aspen walked around and I just couldn’t find a restaurant that I thought we’d enjoy so I told my husband it’s our last night and if we are gonna go have dinner somewhere it is gonna be Venga Venga🙌🏼 And again we were not disappointed. This time we tried the pork carnitas & the shrimp & steak fajitas BOMB! Oh, let’s not forget the guacamole it’s the best I have ever had hands down & I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food, being a Mexican 😉 tonight Gustavo was our waiter and his customer service was on point and made sure we had a good meal and made sure we enjoyed it. As we were leaving we were speak to a very nice lady I didn’t catch her name but we wanted to let her know that the food was amazing and it was our last night & guess what she sent us home nice and fuzzy with a shot on the house for my hubby and I, thank you all for such amazing customer service and being so attentive ☺️ Glad you guys opened back up, we made it just in time. Before I forget for dessert try the CHURROS 😋 Have a good night, peace out we are headed back to Dallas,Tx. Snowmass we’ve been...
