The service was horrible here. The food is overly priced. It was totally not worth 80 bucks for two people to have lunch. There was so much ice in the glasses that there was almost no tonic and the waitress was very bad about refills, We only got one refill the entire meal. I did tip, yet I did not want to tip her, so I only tipped $10 on an 80 dollar meal when I usually tip over 20% on eat in meals. She also made me wait standing up for over 15 mins to pay my tab. She was no where to be found. It looks like they over staffed on hosts and bartenders yet did not staff well enough on the wait staff. (Another reason I tipped even though I did not want to tip at all)
The Chips were great tasting yet not worth the price, the Pasta was the best dish yet again not worth 20 dollars for one plate and the waitress didn't even know the specials, I ordered the chips because she originally told me they did not have the pasta dish, yet Then I realized that she obviously did not know and asked her again and ordered it when she realized it actually was on the menu.
The Vegitarian burgers (impossible) were nothing to boast about, they were ok. The bread was lacking, yet it was soft and fresh which was a plus yet not anything special, the veg burgers were not cooked long enough, and they didn't even ask us how we would like them, seems people dont ask how well you like a veggie burger, yet it actually does make a difference. Mine was under cooked.
A server (OR maybe the Cook) brought my food, he even brought me mayo for the sandwich upon request. Both jobs which I think should be the waitresses job yet I'm definitely not the manager of this place for sure. I wish half my tip could have gone to him. He did more work then the waitress.
The fries were not my fav. They were over seasoned and not quite cooked long enough. Plus the plating was not that great. The silver fry holders are way to tall for the small fries and kept wobbling on the plate because I'm guessing the metal is bent?
Also I want to note, the guys apparently have TVs in the bathroom yet not the women, I only know this because my boyfriend and I were talking about this after the meal. Not sure what to think about that. Are the owners sexist and only think the women are there to accompany a guy at a sports bar? If so they should fully reconsider, and maybe move half of the mens room TVs into the womens...
Read moreI dined at Tony C's on 4/22/2017, as a group of 11 celebrating a birthday party.
The experience started when I called to attempt to make a reservation the Wednesday prior to my planned evening out. I called, and was told that "We do not, and will not ever, accept reservations on a Friday or Saturday evening. It is waiting list only, even for a party greater than 10." I said okay and went with it.
Upon arrival, I put my name in and was told it would be between 1.5-3 hours wait. This was the most central meeting point for the majority of our party guests, so we weren't going to leave. We settled in at the bar and waiting. To Tony C's benefit the place was packed, and as my first time here - I figured that was a good sign of things to come. We ordered apps and drinks at the bar, and waited. Nachos came out cold - and stale. Again, the benefit of the doubt to Tony's.
My wife got a phone call that the table was ready so I proceeded through the packed restaurant to the front. I mentioned to the host "You called my wife - the entire group is on the opposite side of the bar so I came up to see where the table was." I was met with "Sir, your entire party needs to come to the host stand - and then we can seat you, otherwise you'll have to wait." I proceeded to walk back to the group - pull them through a crowded bar, just so we could be sat at a table meant for 6-8.
To sum this up, my wife and I both got a various burger, both came out well-done & cold along with soggy and cold fries. Again, benefit of the doubt to Tony's because it was a packed Saturday Night.
I was willing to let this mediocre experience go, until this AM. My wife and I have both been sick through the night and into the day today, after having only eaten at Tony C's yesterday. For better or for worse our day was hectic - and Tony's was the first meal we ate. And we have been in and out of the bathroom since. I don't find it coincidental that we both had the burger's and we're both not...
Read moreI use to go to Tony C’s all the time over the summer. A few weeks ago I called and ordered over the phone like I usually do when I go there. I called and put in my order, but for some reason they didn’t seem to receive it. That wasn’t the problem, I figured something might have went wrong, so I decided to put in the order once I got there. From the get go once I got to the restaurant the hostesses already had an attitude, once I told them what happened. Once they finished they called my name and that’s when I realized they made a mistake because they put in the wrong burger, I told the hostess who was helping me that this is the wrong order she just started to argue with me when I know for sure I ordered correctly, she decided to call somebody else to help, she only made the situation worse and also had an attitude, so I just decided to get a refund and leave. I am also a hostess and I know for sure this problem could’ve went so differently if they had just a better attitude. I had already put out a review and someone reached out and told me to contact them, I called the store today and asked for the manager and they told me that he wasn’t here so I asked when he would be there and the woman just rudely asked me “ Just tell us what you need and Who is it? ”. I gave this location the benefit of the doubt but after this I don’t think I would return. I would advise for the owner to definitely look into it’s hostesses and help them fix their attitudes (coming from a person who works in...
