Scrumdiddlyumptpus ice creamery. If I had kids they would probably say the same. Although we’ll never know because I was euthanized and neutered at a young age. The ice cream was quite decent. Me personally I would change the entire layout of the store, I wish I had pictures of the interior but I’m sure there on this locations photos anyway. My brother went in the wrong line, but decided that the line he created was correct all alone. We in the word business like to call that confidently incorrect. I’m saying we make everyone wait in little circle areas marked on the floor, and then the cream workers call up each individual one by one. We also should change the seating layout, so the chairs aren’t metal. the moment I sat down, my rump was shivering. All in all a nice little place to get your cream on.

South Pier Creamery & Market: The Dairy Gods Have Spoken Listen, I came for “just one scoop” and left with three pints, a waffle cone the size of a toddler, and a newfound respect for cows. The ice cream? Creamy. Dreamy. Possibly life-altering. I asked what the most popular flavor was and the cashier didn’t even hesitate. I respected the confidence, so I ordered it—and now I see in color again. Staff was friendly in that “we’ve seen some things, but we still love ice cream” kind of way. They even laughed at my terrible pun about “mooo-ving” to the area just to be closer to their Butter Pecan. 10/10 would recommend bringing a spoon, an appetite, and emotional support for when you have to choose between flavors.

I will start by saying we got ice cream two nights in a row, and the ice cream is great. My 2nd night was where I had an issue with how I was treated by the staff/management. I ordered a “Beth Dutton” special flavor based on the ice cream shop’s descriptions and photos of the ice cream (on their website). I got the ice cream and took one bite when I realized this was not what I ordered, it had bananas and nuts and was actually a brown color when the photo online showed white like vanilla (I’m allergic to banana and one bite won’t hurt but a whole cup and I’d be in extreme pain with stomach inflammation). I politely explained to the cashier that this wasn’t the right flavor and that I had an allergy to the bananas that were in this (my sister tasted and confirmed banana). The cashier went down to the spot of the ice cream and then came back and told me I was wrong and this was the right flavor. I told her I cannot have it then. Then the older lady, who must be the manager, shouts from the other end of the counter “what he’s saying is that he just doesn’t want it anymore” making it seem that my allergy statement must be made up?? She followed up by shouting “this is why you need to taste a new flavor before getting it” at me from several people away, while the entire restaurant of people listened to her talk to me like a child (I’m a tall 30 year old man). I was shocked and didn’t respond because it was extremely rude of her. They asked what I wanted and I quickly just named something else to get out of this embarrassing situation. They gave me a smaller size cup than I paid for but I just took it and got out of there. I can’t believe this is how I was treated. I don’t usually write reviews ever but my sister and I were completely shocked by this managers treatment. (Service date:...

The ice cream is amazing! The problem is the lack of customer service. Came in about a week ago, I was really weighing if I wanted to say something about this or not, ordered my ice cream and asked for a new scoop because I have an allergy. The owner had then informed me, as he was scooping my ice cream, that I need to stick with soft serve during the summer time because they won’t be accommodating. When questioned if a new allergy scoop could be provided he mumbled no under his breath. When I told him, he didn’t need to worry about my business in the summer he realized his statement was quite loud. The woman that was next to him tried to say the teenagers that worked there in the summer wouldn’t be able to keep up if they had to accommodate to people’s allergies. I worked at Sherman’s from ages 14-18 and never told anyone they couldn’t have the ice cream, shake, or flurry they wanted during the summertime because we wouldn’t be accommodating. This situation really rubbed me the wrong way and trying to point blame on the people THEY hired irked me. I hope they can do better because I do enjoy the ice cream, but the entire conversation was...

I had gotten a referral to come here when we were in town visiting so we gave it a shot (I actually thought this was Sherman’s Dairy Bar, because it said Sherman’s on the sign, that was my fault. So we actually tried the wrong place). It is not what I expected when we walked in. It was dark and kind of dingy, there was a place to get in line (but there wasn’t one when we got there). Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from. The staff was very pleasant and patient with my family of six while we ordered and decided what to get and asked many many questions. I ended up getting a cherry flavor ice cream with chocolate ribbonsh, in a cup and it was pretty good. My kids loved their selections and so did my husband. We sat and ate inside at a little table and at the bar looking out the window at the street. Disappointed in the last luster inside but for a quick ice cream...
