I understand Dunkin is one of the most donut locations around here in Maine, but I honestly wish Krispy Kreme or different donut locations were available. I always read about fantastic customer service, and how Dunkin is great to choose. On Sunday May 8th I placed an order at 5pm on the app to pickup at 7:30am on May 9th. It was an order for 72 donuts plus 100 donut holes.
I paid for it all prior, and showed up at 7:40am just to ensure it would be done. The drive thru lane was packed. Figured I would go inside. Inside I walk to the front of the line at “pick up order”. Not a single employee acknowledged me for 10 minutes. Even though there were only 2 people, one for window and one for indoors. Nothing.
Eventually I had to interrupt the inside worker and ask about my order I submitted the day before. He was a deer in headlights and had no idea. The order wasn’t ready, and to top it off, he couldn’t even find the order. He blamed it on the Sunday night employees saying “they properly took the order paper and threw it away”. So he then took the next 10 minutes packing up donuts. Didn’t offer a bag to carry everything and didn’t offer napkins. Horrible customer service.
During this packing up, there were 7 people in line behind me, and now the whole location had cars parked everywhere. I apologize for those people behind me waiting for the regular day coffee and donuts, if Dunkin’ were organized and prepared, there wouldn’t have been any issues.
Now I am 25 minutes late from when I put pickup time for my event. I hop in the car to find drive thru cars backed up, and now I have to sit in line for another 10 minutes until I have clearance to drive around and leave.
Horrible parking design, horrible location, horrible employees and customer service. And the donuts were dry and not tasty.

I have never been treated as rudely as I was at any other Dunkin’and I have been to many across the country. The staff was so unprofessional and the person who waited on me at the drive thru, clearly is not cut out for customer service. If he had been pleasant I could have overlooked his appearance which was less than desirable. The other staff that was working were laughing (hysterically), as I waited at the window for my order to be completed. All I ordered was a medium hot coffee and a donut. To top it off, the person who waited on me at the window made a very rude remark to me right before he closed the window. I assumed that they had done something undesirable to my coffee and I ended up pouring the whole cup out and the donut was stale. They had left the window opened and we could hear the supervisor on duty saying, "just take the bacon off, they won't know the difference". When they handed me the food, I let them know that due to religious reasons I cannot eat pork, and they needed to remake the food without the pork touching my food. After remaking the food, they were extremely rude to me. I simply asked that in the future they need to be careful with cross contamination of foods as they have no idea what it could do to the other person (i.e food allergies, religious reasons). The worker gave attitude in return saying that if I do not want pork touching my food then I should take my business elsewhere. These workers were incredibly rude. I kept composure and remained kind. They raised their voice and said that it was not their concern to keep my food free of cross contamination, so I drove off.
