Grace Has The Best Home-Fries In America ! #1 From Touring On Tourbuses, I Have Eaten In Every State From Florida To Quebec Canada All The Way Over To Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland 🇮🇪 .
The Only Home-Fries To Come Close Were The Home-Fries At Howard Johnson’s On South Main Street In Waterbury Connecticut From 1980-1990. All The Other Diners Who I Will Keep Nameless, Yes I’ve Eaten At All Your Restaurants. But Howard Johnson’s Went Completely Downhill After 1990.
Grace’s Diner Give You Way More Home-Fries Also.
The Eggs I Order Are Scrambled, Just Enough, Perfect Flavor And Texture.
The Bacon Is Natural And Delicious And NOT MICROWAVED. I Don’t Need To Nuclear Bacon, How Bout You ;)
I Ordered This Exact Same Order For A Second Time And Both Were Exact And Perfect.
Google Says They Use Grubhub But They Also Use DOORDASH.
They And I Use DOORDASH Because I’ve Used All 3; Ubereats, Grubhub, And DOORDASH Is The Same Price In The End And Is Faster And Cheaper With DashPass. And When You Put Your Order In 1 Dasher Goes On A “MISSION TO GET YOU AND ONLY YOU YOUR FOOD AS FAST AND AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE !” AND IF YOUR DASHER DON’T MOVE TO ANY RESTAURANT TO PICK UP YOUR FOOD FAST ENOUGH, THEY GET DUMPED AND YOU GET ANOTHER DASHER AUTOMATICALLY WHO IS CLOSER TO YOUR RESTAURANT OF CHOICE. They All Wear Masks And Place Your Food Box/Bag On Your Doorstep As You Monitor Their Travels With The DoorDash GPS On Your Internet Device.
It’s All About The $ TOO 3 Domenic And Vinnies Pizza On Wolcott Rd In Waterbury Is $3 Delivery, Order It 4 Times In A Month, That’s $12. DashPass Is $10 For Most Delivery’s, Grace’s Included.
But IHOP Even Though You Have Dash Pass They Still Want $7 To Deliver And I Don’t Even Like Their Home-Fries Aren’t Even Potatoes. IHOPS Home-Fries Look Like Worm Rice Cakes, NASTY And Don’t Even Get Me Started On IHOPS Imaginary Scrambled Eggs. I’ve Jammed And Army Bases And For Prisoners In Jail. One Thing I Know Is A Powdered Or Liquid Chemical FakeEgg.
And Grace Doesn’t Penalize Me Because I Live In Naugatuck And She’s Out In Southington. Like Mario’s Pizza PENALIZES Me Because I Live In Naugatuck And He’s ALMOST In Oakville, Not Far At All. Thank God For Domenic And Vinnies On Wolcott Road In Waterbury Or I Would Lose My Mind !
But Grace’s Is My Only Breakfast Choice ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I Probably Should Mention; That I Stopped Eating Breakfast In 1992. 28 Years Ago After Gramma And Her Sister Mill Died; That’s Until I Found Grace’s Restaurant Last Week. I Love You Grace 💚 , Your Bro,...
Read moreWe had lunch this afternoon at Grace's Restaurant with our 2 1/2 year old and his parents. As soon as you get through the door you can tell by the buzz and friendly greeting this is going to be good. With the little one it's always a toss of the dice but he was very well behaved and was content watching all the activity of wait staff serving and people coming and going. Now back to the review of the restaurant, exstensive menu and many choices for the little ones. Staff was super friendly and very attentive. a couple of the adults ordered salads and I ordered a turkey club sandwich. My Grandson had chicken fingers with fries, he was all set with that, big portion and as long as he had ketchup to dip in he was all good. The salads one a grilled chicken with apple and walnuts, green peppers and tomatoes, the other was very similar but substituted chicken salad for the grilled chicken. When the salads were brought to the table there was a unanimous WOW, huge salads and very good. My Turkey Club was loaded with turkey and bacon, hmmm hmmm good, came with Cole slaw and fries both of which were plentiful and good. No pictures of the Childs chicken plate he wouldn't have taking a pause and me clicking a pic. The other adult ordered the classic BLT, nothing but compliments. Grace's Restaurant is now on our stop in whenever close by. I highly recommend Grace's Restaurant to anyone who wants to eat a great meal with fresh food and large portions, not to mention the hometown atmosphere with locals engaging in conversation and time spent with friends and...
Read moreAfter an early appointment in Middletown, breakfast was next on the list. Heading towards Southington, a town that truly has everything, we passed by Grace's Restaurant and turned around to check it out. Crowded and bustling, it was obviously a popular place. A good sign. An attentive man suggested a back corner booth that was available. Much appreciated. Another breakfast-and-lunch only place, the menu is still extensive with numerous choices of meals from the kitchen for either service.
We needed coffee and theirs is good and hot. Omar, one waitress told us. Good choice. Refills come with the initial price and staff comes around regularly asking customers if they want more. What we ended up ordering: two scrambled eggs with kielbasa that comes with home fries and toast, a waffle, and a side of potato pancakes that come with containers of sour cream and apple sauce.
My rye toast, very dark, was kindly replaced when our waitress noticed my expression at the sight of it and asked me if it was too black. The eggs were cooked well, not underdone or overdone and the kielbasa was a good quality. The six small potato pancakes were okay. Pricey at $8.95. The home fries were soft and could have been warm, but they weren't greasy or burned from being tossed on a grill for hours.
A nice place to have breakfast or lunch whether by yourself or with family or friends. Anytime there is a menu of this size there is much to try before favorite dishes are found. This is a place to do...
