Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

I have been a long time regular, like they know my drink without me ordering. I know my order is specific. I started coming to Dutch because of their "slushy" drinks. It was my coping mechanism. A lot of the time I show up I'm already in a panic attack. I feel like as a result, I have received some free drinks. I tell them every time, please let me pay, my money is right here. And I would always get told that it's fine, it's on them. I will beg them to let me pay, and they won't let me. Fast forward to last night. I went to Dutch, I really needed a pick me up. So I order, and go to pay.... I was wearing the wrong jacket. My CC was in my other coat pocket. So I said, cancel my order, I need to run and grab my money. The girl then said, no it's ok, it's on us. I said ok (from past experience, it should have been ok.). I get to the window, and the guy laid into me. And I quote (I have it recorded too), "we don't mind giving you a free drinks, but when you start expecting it, that's when we cut you off". I never ever have expected or demanded anything for free. I literally told her twice to cancel my order, and that I just needed to run and grab my other coat. Lost a regular that went almost everyday. It was so unnecessary to treat me like that. As someone who is always drinking coffee, I’ve tried practically every business in Utah. Dutch Bros is my favorite coffee place, and out of all of the locations I’ve been to, this one is my favorite. The drinks are always served exactly as ordered and the workers are very nice every single time I’ve been here. There is a pink-haired worker there that has assisted me many times and they’ve always been so sweet, I always look forward to seeing them on my coffee run. It’s so encouraging to see a workplace where the employees are allowed to express themselves freely. The atmosphere is very welcoming and bubbly, I recommend Dutch Bros to my friends whenever I can, and they’ve all loved it for themselves. I love dutchbros and order to go 1-2 coffees every day but it is soooooo annoying to wait in the two lines and or get out of the car to go to the “pick up window” especially when you order ahead. If I wanted to sit in line I would not order online. I would suggest that coffee shop use the parking spaces that are literally in front of Dutch Bros that no one parks in as an online pick up orders pick up location. so that one of the sweet people that always take our orders can quickly jump over there and bring us our drinks so we can get back to work, and all the other things that we need to get done, which is why we are ordering online.
