Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

What happened to this place? I used to love this restaurant. It was 6:30 on Saturday, March 9, 2025. We were hungry for dinner other places were a little busy. We went here because there was no waiting. First thing I noticed was French fries spilled all over the floor behind the counter, but I thought they were just going to wait on us, then clean them up. We ordered and waited for our food. I took a bite of my hamburger, it had a horrible taste. I spit it out and thought it was the pickle, I don't like some pickles. So I tried just the meat. It was so bad, I spit it out again. My husband was eating his fries and told to try his burger. It was not the same taste but smelled really sweet, and was very pink. We threw away the food and I noticed after 25 minutes, the fries were scattered more on the floor and kicked under the counters back there. I took a picture. We didn't tell the young man, because we didn't want replacement food. We will never eat there again. We went to McDonalds and ate in the car, heading home up the canyon. Highly disappointed. We have been going to this Arctic Circle for over 20 years. It's our go to when we come to Utah to visit. This last time we waited in Drivethru for 5 minutes before getting to window. So we decided to go in. I ordered the Halibut Sandwich meal, hubby had chicken rings and son had the 2 cheeseburger meal. Took 15 minutes for our order. A group behind us ordered and they were friends with an employee they got their food before us and they had a large order. So preferential treatment if you know the employees. Disgusting. The food, chicken rings were dry. Halibut was dry and burnt and the cheeseburgers were ok. Fries were soggy. We were going to get ice cream stood at the counter for 5 minutes no employee came to help. In fact one employee drank a shake and jabber jawed with a friend in the front of the counter ignoring us potential PAYING customers. We will NOT be returning to this Arctic Circle ever again. They deserve No Stats but google wont give negative stars.Dont go to this Arctic Circle. Go across the Street to Sonic..they will...

This is our first visit since the new remodel, and their “updated” and “modern” design is NOT kid-friendly. There are no booths, just crowded, tiny tables that scrape loudly across the concrete floor. You can barely access the tables immediately off to the left of the entrance because it is so crowded with chairs.

You try and order your food, and there is NO space to stand in line to do so. It is the very worst layout I have ever seen in a fast food chain. Everyone is jammed against a wall and you don’t know who is in line or waiting to pick up their order.

The portion size is pretty small compared to other places: we got 2 kid’s meals with chicken tenders, and they each came with one shriveled chicken tender. Most places give you two pieces.

I asked for no pickles on my burger. My burger arrived nearly cold and had pickles on it. When asked for what kind of dipping sauces he’d like, my husband replied, “Ranch please,” and received nothing.
