So I happen to come across this steakhouse as I was grabbing lunch, I asked a gentleman who was getting in his car if there were restaurants inside the casino, he said two places to eat one being a Steakhouse. So I was curious and went in on Tuesday but it was closed. I booked my reservation via Open Table (strongly suggested). The evening of the next came to try this place out… Wow! First of all, I send a big hug to the ladies at the hostess desk, classy, cordial, respectful and polite! Second, to Adrian, Destiny at the bar, you guys are world class! To Kevin and Oscar in the lounge area, you guys are champs!!! I didn’t get the name of the other two ladies in the lounge area but you ladies are amazing too! You know who you are. Part 1 - My first night (Wednesday) started with a Smoked Old Fashioned (JD), I ordered the Shrimp cocktail, super fresh and delicious. The team gave me bread with butter and it was yummy! Then ordered 6oz Mignon, with a loaded baked potato with some carrot and broccoli. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium). Loaded potato was with the right amount of bacon, butter and sour cream until your last bite which was nice. For dessert, I had the Crème Brûlée. The bar area was so elegant and check out the wine rack covering the entire wall, wow! Food was so amazing I booked my reservation for Thursday. Part 2 - Came for dinner on Thursday, this time to the lounge so I can order the Banana’s Foster which you can only get when you dine-in (not the bar). I started at the bar, ordered a Smoked Old Fashion and again a Shrimp Cocktail to kill time while I shifted to the lounge area. I skipped lunch on purpose so at the lounge I started with the Yellow Fin Tuna Ceviche, I must say, it was alright, I expected more flavor out of this, missing perhaps the citrus flavors, normally ceviche is very moist and this wasn’t. Then had the soup of the day, Tomato Bisque and holy crap, this soup was absolutely yummy!!! For dinner I ordered the Grilled Pork Chop (2 bone-in chops) with Chimichurri sauce on the side, the sauce was outstanding! The pork chop was delicious but, in my opinion and for my pallet, I found it didn’t mix well with the Herb Fingerling Potatoes, Asparagus, and Roasted Apple Bacon Compote. I was only looking for the grilled flavor of the pork chops and I found it was overpowered but the other aforementioned ingredients. Simple is king in my opinion. I think some coleslaw, garlic mash, or baked potato would suffice. Dessert time and this wasn’t an experience in itself. Oscar brought the mobile stove and fired that bad boy up to cook the bananas and flame it out! Desert was good but it was more the experience for me! Final note, there are wonderful people in this World. I met Mr. & Mrs. Torres who treated me to an Old Fashioned drink thanking me for my service in the Marine Corps. He shared he lost his Brother (my Marine Brother) and we connected at the moment and tears came out! This is what you call life!!! I send my love to the Torres Family! 🫡 The people are wonderful, the restaurant is super elegant and beautiful!!! I can’t wait to go back. Oh yeah, the two chocolates, absolutely delicious and rich! The pros are beyond the cons… remember it’s a steakhouse. This is a Valdi approved joint!!!!

This steakhouse exceeded my expectations as would be expected if an actual steakhouse, think the prices are reasonable for the quality of food, service and atmosphere. The only think steak needed was tad salt which I opted to add only at last pieces as on low sodium diet but the softness and dry aged steak would just melt in your mouth. I ordered the bone in ribeye. For sides we ordered mushrooms asd Mac and cheese which portions were much larger than. Expected and could easily serve 4-8 persons. I forgot our servers name but he was great and prompt. We also ordered the tomato soup which was more like a ravioli soup but was delicious. It's literally like you were drinking ravioli the scent and flavor was intense but very soothing and enjoyable. Mini Beef wilkington was also very delicious as an appetizer. Probably the Mac and cheese was least enjoyable which we ordered out of curiosity being a truffle Mac and cheese. The bread tasted fresh and delicious. The butter tasted unsalted while the texture was great. I would highly recommend while it may noteet the expectations of those with highest expectations the price was comparable and experience was much more enjoyable to the higher end chains I've been to.

If you enjoy a happy hour with a bit of elegance, Dukes can accommodate you. Duke's opens for happy hour at 4:00PM sharp and continues to 5:30PM. Sunday - Wednesday Half off select wines, beer cocktails and appetizers. We enjoyed Pepper crusted Ahi, Escargot, Mini Beef Wellington, and quail breast. The quail did have a few small bones in it. But, it happens. If you enjoy eggs, you will get some egg shell in your omelet. Adreian, tended the bar and we ordered a glass of red. I don't remember what type of red wine, while I enjoyed a Howard Hughes martini. Yes, the purple one. It was good. Adrian, was very busy but he took our drink and food order. Everything arrived just as we ordered it. We enjoyed our stay, drink and food. We did enjoy the Happy Hour. Not the cheapest, but when you want to be treated like a mensch (a person), this establishment certainly achieves that mark. Yes, we will be patronizing Duke's Steak house again!

Had 7pm reservations for 2 for our first anniversary. That's as far as we got sadly. Everyone seemed absolutely beyond flustered as soon as we walked in. From the bartender huffing and puffing and forgetting our drinks, twice. To the hostess letting us know there were "only 3 servers on this evening." Our server stopped by after 10 mins and a rushed speal by the "room manager" to let us know he had to cook a steak for another table and asked if we would like drinks, didnt provide any other information. We ordered our drinks and away he went. After 18 more minutes we hadn't had drinks delivered yet nor had we seen our server. Actually we did see our server at the table next to ours giving a long detailed speech on where the steak comes from and the evening specials. I looked at my wife and said "we didn't get any of that information from him". I would have loved to know the specials. No specials no info on the prime steak. At this point we got up and left as it was over 30 mins and we hadn't made any progress. I like a nice relaxed dinner but I shouldn't have to fear growing old sitting at the table. The best part was as i was walking out with my wife the manager was standing at the host stand with his arms crossed as his staff literally fell apart. Time to designate a server assistant to do tableside service. For a steakhouse of this caliber and price this should never be the scene. This is something one would expect from an Applebee's or Chilis. This was our first experience here and will be our last. We tried this place despite the locals saying how it isn't great. Dukes must not realize western villiage steakhouse (a local staple) is 1 block away, thats actually where we ended up going. Thanks for nearly ruining our...

My husband and I went to Dukes for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was very nice as well as the wait staff. Unfortunately that was the only thing nice about our experience. My husband asked for a cute anniversary setup with a dessert at the end but none of it was done. No mention of us celebrating at all. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and ahi tacos for an appetizer. No appetizer plates were given or offered. The Shrimp was very mushy. The ahi tacos had no flavor other than pepper. For dinner I had a filet mignon cooked medium rare with mashed potatoes and a house salad. The cook of the steak was almost perfect but it was extremely over seasoned. I couldn’t taste the red meat flavor that I love some much, just dry rub. The mash potatoes and the pasta that my husband had as a side looked and tasted like something out of a box. The worst I’ve ever had! My side salad was good. I had it with their house balsamic. My husband also ordered the garlic fries which were not terrible but there was no fresh garlic, the kitchen used garlic powder seasoning which was surprising for a steakhouse. Actually fries seasoning tasted just like the boxed pasta. I really was hoping for a great meal that I didn’t have to cook but I wish I would’ve by the end of it all. The food quality is not good even if it was a mall food court. We won’t be going back Or recommending...
