Okay first I want to state that I come here almost weekly usually mid morning. I never really had a problem. The staff is usually so sweet. But yesterday I saw a different side. My boyfriend and I and our two daughters got seated quickly but it took 20 minutes for the waitress to approach after I asked who our waitress was so we could order. (Valerie P the waitress) When she approached us she wasnāt very friendly more irritated then anything. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time because we werenāt sure if she would come back. We let it go because we saw she was busy. But then we noticed people who would be seated after us were receiving there drinks before us. Well we thought okay maybe our drinks were more thought out and that was what was taking so long. Then we saw that people were receiving there food before we got our drinks. Now my family and I were irritated. We thought what is going on. Finally after a total of an hour of us being there we got our food and drinks. Food was not great I ordered the teriyaki bowl with shrimp. Shrimp was good but the bowl it self was cold and vegetables were very limp. I didnāt eat much of it. I notice our waitress would approach other tables and ask how they were doing and if needed anything. Not once did she acknowledge us. I asked for check after I tried several times to get her attention. Still didnāt receive a good greeting from her. So I decided I was not going to leave a tip. It takes a lot for me not to want to tip. Ive only done this twice my whole life. I also left a note for the waitress as to why. They then took the check book and she read the note. As she approached me after receiving note, I thought I was going to receive an apology something positive. But nope she came up very upset and said thanks for the note very sarcastically. I was going to talk to her but she stormed off outside. I was shocked and bothered by her behavior especially in front of my kids. I gathered us all up and walked them to the car. I decided to go back in and talk with the manager. Her reaction was extremely disappointing. Her first words to me were well the last time you guys were here you didnāt leave a tip. I was like what we always leave a tip. Her response was well not the last time you were here. Iām baffled at this point. I said I apologize I may have been distracted with the kids that it wasnāt our intentions. But regardless if we had or hadnāt we are now being punished because of something that may have been an accident. She then proceeds to say our servers work very hard and if they donāt receive a tip there most likely to ā¦. And pauses. I was like so you are defending her actions. At this point Iām arguing with her. She stated she read my note. I stated then as a manager why werenāt we spoke to about it. She then said why didnāt you ask for a manager. I told her well if Valerie had approach us we would have. We did tip our busier because she shouldnāt be faulted for her mistakes. Needless to say Val P and the manager should not be working there. Keep in mind they have I think three managers. This one is new and shows. They do not represent what the owner has created. Iāve gotten apologies but nothing seems sincere. Just said to shut me up. I will not be going there again. I feel at this point Iād be entering a hostile environment. Itās sad my daughter loves eating there. I hope no one ever has to experience this. Especially...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTucked into the bustling Sparks Outlets, Great Full Gardens lives up to its name with a cheerful atmosphere, warm service, and food that hits all the right notes. Our group of four stopped in on a slow afternoon and were greeted with a space that was not only welcoming but refreshingly bright and spaciousāideal for a relaxed lunch. The calmness of the day gave us a chance to really enjoy the vibe, chat without raising our voices, and take in the thoughtful design of the space.
The service was genuinely spot on. Friendly without being overbearing, attentive without hoveringāthe kind of balanced hospitality that makes you feel looked after without being fussed over. And the food? Absolutely delectable. From the first bite to the last sip, everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Thereās a clear emphasis on quality ingredients and a menu designed to please a variety of palates.
Impressed by our first visit, we returned on a different day just for coffeeāand the contrast was striking. The space was now buzzing, completely filled with patrons, a true testament to the restaurant's popularity. Still, despite the crowd, the service didnāt skip a beat. Our coffees were just as enjoyable as our meals had been, crafted with care and perfect for a mid-day pause.
Great Full Gardens has a way of making you feel like a regular, even if itās your first time through the door. Itās the kind of place you walk away from feeling better than when you arrivedānot just full, but genuinely grateful.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fresh, vibrant spot with top-notch service and consistently...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWHOO! HOO! I can't believe my favorite restaurant is finally in Sparks. After years of begging and pleading with the owners, they are finally here. I bet you can't tell how ecstatic I am? LOL
However, if you are vegan, vegetarian, health-conscious, organic, or special diet this restaurant will have you covered. Incidentally, they offer locally grown organic food and have partnerships with several local businesses such as Folk Kombucha, Lighthouse Coffee and Too Soul Tea Co. I love the interconnection of our business community.
They offer a wide array and options on their menu. Not to mention they have raw desserts. Needless to say, the vegan bbq pork is so good there is no way you wouldn't be able to tell it is not pork.
The great thing is you can order online and then stop by and pick up. I have already done this on more than several occasions.
Therefore if you are at the Outlets at Legends I highly recommend that you try out this local's favorite.
Incidentally, if you want a delectable dessert that will have you reeling out of your seat you really must try the Banana Split Liege Waffle. It will have you licking your plate clean and trying desperately to devour each tasty morsel no matter how small.
Did I mention that the service here is beyond wonderful? Why not see...
