On 12/14/2018, my son had an experience with FREE coupons issued to him by a reputable law enforcement agency/club for volunteering on a weekly basis. My son is a college student who works extremely hard, plays football, and is on the dean's list in a Jr. college near Northern, CA. He has maybe 2 friends at the most that he is with on a regular basis. This is ONE KID WHO DOESN'T DESERVE the lack of service/discrimination he received here. He goes in often (maybe twice a week at the most) with a FREE coupon and "JR" refused to serve him citing, "It's strange that you have so many of these". My son called me very upset stating that he was treated with suspicion and was accused of dishonestly obtaining the coupons. This prompted a phone call by me to this establishment. I spoke to Jr. in an attempt to verify with him the validity of the coupons and where they originated. Jr. stated that my son who drives a compact car came in with 10 other young adults who asked for water cups and proceeded to STEAL soda. He also stated that my son was disrespectful in an attempt to deflect the problem and "threw around" that his dad was a cop. When I asked my son what happened he said that he was merely trying to explain where they obtained the coupons. I wasn't aware that my son even had 10 friends and I simply don't believe he would steal soda or disrespect any establishment. Nobody in this entire community would believe it as my son is very well known in Reno, Sparks, and The Virginia City Highlands to be a respectful young man. When I questioned the truthfulness of these "10 friends" and theft of soda, Jr. stated that these people that were stealing soda eventually left Jersey Mike's while my son and his friend remained sitting. This leaves me to believe that these people stealing soda had nothing to do with my son's visit there and my son hasn't a clue where he would get 10 friends. He certainly didn't have 10 coupons. Please do not let rotten apples spoil the whole bunch. My husband and I are disappointed and will be in touch with management as this is...
Read moreI dont usually write a bad review, with that being said, I believe the ownership should be aware of the service we received today. First off when I ordered a "medium" #13, I was vehemently corrected that there were NO medium sandwiches by the girl in the coke bottle glasses. I was then told that there are only mini, regular and giant. Im sure that this person knew exactly what I meant but decided to correct me anyway. Then she proceeded to be rude to my partner and the other staff that were obviously new. She proceeded to make one sandwich at a time and refused help from the other staff. My partner and I ordered at the same time but his sandwich got to him a full 8 min. later. (I clocked it). My crew eats at your store quite a bit as we do a lot of work in the legends mall and we all have observer this worker and all of us have commented on her lack of professionalism and down right brain dead behavior. While we were in the store eating I observed several people leave as the wait time was incredibly long. I dont want someone to loose their job, but as a fellow business owner I thought that you should be aware of your employee's complete lack of professionalism. I am dis appointed because I love your sandwiches but will not be back...
Read moreLove Jersey Mike's but this last experience was awful. I ordered the #9...everything was going smoothly until they called someone to help make the sandwich. The guy looked confused as to what he was supposed to do (which happens) when we told him what number we ordered he asked how I wanted mine. I told him I wanted it the way it details (Mike's Way). He then asks, "Yeah...but what do you want on it??"... I told him everything it says [in the description]. I don't know what happened, but he put everything on it alright; with a BUNCH of jalapeños and my sandwich was swimming in vinegar ( you should have seen the look on the faces on the people behind us as he was pouring it on the sandwich). He put everything BUT what was supposed to be in it-- the bacon (at this point I didn't care). I was gunna try and eat it. My husband's sandwich was made the same way...we started to eat it; his bread was dry/crumbling a lot-- which has never been our experience and ended up having to take the excessive jalapeños out, and the center of the sandwiches were saturated in vinegar and oil-- it was a mess, the vinegar was all...
