If I could give 0 stars I would! I made an order to be delivered from their website thinking they had delivery options. Paid extra for delivery so one of my best friends would get this on her birthday, unfortunately it was never delivered and when I called to talk to the store I was told that they couldn't do anything about it because they don't do deliveries it was doordash and I have to take it up with doordash. If I wanted to use doordash then I would have ordered it through doordash myself through mine or my daughters account so I could track the order and there would be some accountability if there where any issues. The manager wouldn't even come to the phone and talk to me themselves, which tells me they don't really care if I was just ripped off. What absolute disgusting display of customer service. They need to be held accountable for this issue! When you pay for something but don't receive what you paid for... that is theft! And since I went to their website, which made it look like they in fact did deliveries, misleading me to believe it would be them making the delivery and not an entirely different company. They should be the ones to have to call doordash to take care of it and if anyone ends up losing out from it, it should be them. They wouldn't even pick up the phone when I called back I will update this if I get a full refund without having to dispute the charges with my bank or contacting the better business bureau.
I was finally able to get ahold of someone today that seemed like giving good customer service mattered to them and as long as my refund shows up in my account then everything will be alright but I still won't ever go to this store again and am hesitant to go to any other crumbl cookie store because of this situation. I do want to thank the employee that helped me today for being friendly and helpful.... I very much appreciate it and to the employee I talked to Saturday I apologize for you being stuck having to deal with dissatisfied customers when you obviously didn't know how to take care of the problem. Your manager should have taken over and talked to me about what could be done to fix the issue. The breakdown with this situation was their fault not yours. Making sure quality customer service is maintained is part of their job. And to the manager that couldn't be bothered to take the time to help me regardless of whether your store has staff delivering cookies or its contracted out to doordash when a problem occurs its your name on the line and your name that takes the hit, especially when you don't help issues get resolved smoothly. From my experience dealing with this situation I suggest you take some class on customer service because you are very much lacking in...
Read moreI have been so curious about this cookie business I've almost driven to CDA a few times to try it. When I saw they were open today in this new location I had to stop and try one. See what all the fuss was about! I'm not gonna say they're absolutely awful or anything just not at all what I expected! I tried the lemon sugar cookie. The flavor of the lemon buttercream was really great! The cookie itself doesn't have a whole lot of flavor. The main thing that threw me off was the name is CRUMBLE, and I'm normally someone who eats the center of the cookie and not the crunchy outside. With this cookie I couldn't eat anything but the edges. Idk if it wasn't baked long enough or what but it's like dough. I thought maybe it was because the cookie was still warm, but after chilling it it was still just super doughy. Nauseatingly doughy. I'll try again to see if that was a weird cookie or how they are really meant to come out. I see a lot of griping over the pricing. These are larger cookies and working in the bakery field I don't find the pricing unfair at all. If you want a cheap cookie go to a grocery store. These kinds of shops are meant for special occasions and times where you're okay paying extra for quality. However if they really are just a clump of flavorless cookie dough in the center then truly they are not "worth the hype" or price as others are stating. Also didn't expect to see 20 teenagers packed in such a small space! It was very interesting! All of them had great attitudes, aside from the one person who should have had the best. The person standing at the very front cracking eggs around 7pm shouldn't be the one addressing customers from the moment they walk in..me and other customers all looked at eachother in shock with how they barked orders at us on how TO order. Very angry demeanor, unfriendly and unwelcoming. I'll definitely try again and see if I have a better experience, and update my...
