I had the ramen almond wrap. And it was pretty standard fair, I should have asked for more sauce because it was just super salad and dry so I really didn't taste any sauce on there at all. Ramen inside was a fun touch.
The only issue was that I came in alone, so I feel like the server lady was trying to make me feel weird about that. Can't really explain it other than an attitude thing. The management was there, a couple servers and bartenders, but the vibes were dark and cold it felt like. I was completely ignored after I got sat down. Even though it wasn't busy at all, I really had to work at some serious eye contact to get someone. Just the whole thing felt like bullying in the lunch room after a while of this and I felt pretty bad about that. I told her I didn't drink alcohol but I love a mocktail if there's one on the menu. She just looked at me like I was speaking a different language and had never heard of this before. Just so passive aggressive. I got water.
The cherry on top was a young lady who came in and sat at the bar alone, looked like she had been up for a few days maybe or could have been under the weather, idk, and one of the cooks in back bought her a drink (she ordered long Island ice tea)...and then they proceeded to have this super weird silent argument (?). Sorry I'm not sure what else to call it. But it was a lot of pacing and staring and walking around the perimeter of the room a bunch...maybe that's why the vibes with the staff were so weird to begin with, because I wasn't comfortable at all. He eventually gave her a handful of cash and she left that long Island about 90% still full. Idk.
EDIT Owner responded and made me feel heard instead of giving a canned BS response. Didn't make excuses, just a true apology with a promise to do better. Easy decision to change my rating to 5 stars because of this. Mistakes happen, owning them is how you succeed in this business....
Read moreMy husband and I recently embarked on a culinary adventure at Heritage, and what a journey it was! From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
We started our culinary exploration with the Dough Boys appetizer, and they were nothing short of perfection. Crispy on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside, and bursting with flavor, they left us eager for what was to come.
For our main course, we decided to indulge in the Smash Burger and Hash Brown Burger, both accompanied by Rosemary Fries. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with juicy patties and delectable toppings that tantalized our taste buds. The Rosemary Fries added a delightful aromatic twist to the meal, perfectly complementing the savory goodness of the burgers.
To quench our thirst, we sampled one of Heritage's specialty beers, which proved to be the ideal accompaniment to our meal. The beer selection was extensive and thoughtfully curated, further enhancing our dining experience.
What truly set Heritage apart was not just the exceptional food, but also the impeccable service and inviting ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless, earning them our utmost appreciation.
In summary, our experience at Heritage was nothing short of extraordinary. From the mouthwatering cuisine to the unparalleled hospitality, every moment was a testament to the restaurant's dedication to excellence. Without a doubt, Heritage has earned its place as a five-star dining destination, and we eagerly look forward to returning for another...
Read moreThis was our first time at Heritage and it was a great experience. We tried the garlic cheesy bread, hash brown burger and Impossible burger + some local brews. The garlic bread was great. The dough was very soft and perfectly cooked with a great cheese pull. Impossible burger was great as well, smashed nice and thin. Highly recommend doing the sweet potatoe fries. The hash brown burger was a hit as well. My one comment would be that it is not actually a hash brown and more of a potato croquette (fried mash potatoes). If you are looking for the traditional shredded potatoes with a crunch, that’s not really what it is. However, the burger still held together well and was delicious. The Lemon bar sour was great, not TOO sour like some of the other places we’ve tried. Great customer service and truly no complaints. (Also, 10/10...
