I'm always down for ramen so I was quite excited that there was a ramen shop by my lodging. It's a nice and airy well lit restaurant with cool comic panels on the walls. Pretty fun and comfortable! The menu consists of some of the usual izakaya fare like gyoza, takoyaki and edamame, but it's missing some staples like chicken karage. They do have a small selection of yakitori though which these kinds of restaurants don't usually have. I ordered some bacon wrapped scallops yakitori which came out a bit chewy but not bad! I also had an order of takoyaki. They put a different spin on it by adding a spicy sauce that gave it a kick which was good. Unfortunately the tako/octopus ratio was really low. For a ball the size of a half dollar coin, I only usually got a small pencil eraser size chunk of octopus. Needs more chunk! They have the usual ramen soup selection like shoyu, miso, tonkotsu and some spicy selections as well. I got the basic shoyu to try it out (it's a staple!) and it was tasty! We did find that both of our ramen were missing the chashu pork/BBQ pork (gotta have the pork!!!) and they immediately remedied that by bringing us portions. I was also quite surprised that they have the summer cold ramen dish as well which I'll have to try out when I visit again. Also their that iced tea uses vanilla soy milk instead of half n half/condensed milk and it was pretty tasty. Overall, service was excellent 👌. They remedied the couple snafus that happened quickly but still need to work on some dishes to make them awesome! I'd come back again!

Beneath the vast Spokane sky, a pilgrimage to flavor, Nudo Ramen House, a sanctuary for those who savor. Crossing the threshold, the dance of aroma invites, Summoning tales of distant lands on ramen-flavored nights. The setting, a blend of the modern and the timeless, Where Edison's light meets art's vibrant finesness. As Soup Daddy, I judge with a discerning eye, And here, the Tonkotsu broth made spirits fly. Silky, rich, a broth that sings of umami's embrace, Each sip a verse in a soul-nourishing grace. Chashu tender, bamboo crisp—elements play, In a symphony of flavors, they sashay and sway. Handmade noodles, each strand a craftsman’s pride, Clung to my spoon, in the broth they'd glide. Here, chefs weave magic, a culinary spell, In each bowl, a story of passion they tell. Nudo Ramen House, a temple of taste, Where humble ramen finds gourmet embrace. In Spokane, this haven calls to those who dream, Of ramen that's more than it might seem. Come, surrender to this enchanting delight, Let Nudo's ramen fill your soul, bite by bite. A haven for those who, in broths, believe, A five-star journey you must achieve.

So we're visiting Spokane for 2 days. That evening I was watching a Ramen show on VIKI..and so I started craving for some ramyeon.. so the ff day, my hubby brought us to Nudo House right around the corner we were staying at. Everyone was practicing Social distancing so the restaurant wasn't as full. But the host who met us was very pleasant. She seated us in a corner area. I noticed the cool comic like painting on the walls.

The menu isn't flashy, just a simple paper. But everything looked delicious. We were supposed to be on this less than 1500 calorie diet, but we scratched that off. We ended up ordering Fried Tofu for appetizers... I decided to half the tonkatsu ramen with my son, and ordered half the size of the Gyudon. My son had half of my ramen and a pad thai, my husband it's the regular size Seafood ramen.

First the tofu.. wow! Totally delicious! I'll try to imitate that when I get home. We don't have Nudo Ramen there. They were so kind in separating the one order of tonkatsu into two different bowls for me and my son. The flavor is ok, I can say I've had better, but the experience and presentation made up for that! And the Gyudon..half the size was like full size.. and it was amazingly good! My husband likewise enjoyed his ramen.

Let's just say we finished our food, forgot about our diet and left with satisfied full stomachs!

If you drop by Spokane, and want good food? Check this place out! Totally...

Was an employee, fired by removal from work group chat. 0 out of 10 stars.

I worked the lunch shift for 6 months and was fired unexpectedly in September 2022. I wasn’t given any noticed or contacted by the owner Jing or management Katie/Megumi at the downtown location. I arrived at my shift with no real discussion as to why I had been let go besides I had been late 5 minutes and I had missed an employee meeting 3 months prior. No prior warnings or discussions about my performance was given whatsoever. I was just fired randomly one day I went to work. Really disappointing experience as an employee and with this establishment I felt proud to say I worked for. Posting this review publicly because I feel that this type of behavior by employers is toxic and very exploitative to their employees when they are unexpectedly let go or replaced at the drop of a hat. Not to mention there isn’t any real growth opportunities at this restaurant and the staff completely cycles through so you are constantly treated like you’re replaceable. Thankfully this wasn’t my sole job but here’s a warning for those looking to work here! Also the food is decent, 3 out...
