✊️Uprise Beer Co✊️
@uprisebeer is one of Spokane's newest brewery additions but has roots in some well-established names in Spokane. Its founders used to manage The flying goat and Republic pi, and it's head brewer at Perry Street Brewing. It is no coincidence that this brewery seemed to know exactly what they were doing.
This modern-themed taproom has everything one could hope for in a brewery- including @airbnb studios for rent above the taproom (We will be checking these out the next time we come to town).
They are kid-friendly both inside and out. Fur-children are allowed on the patio. We had our doggos with us when we came so we sat outside. No worries, as the staff had the heaters on no sooner than being told we were hoping to hang. Their patio is one that we will be back for, come summer. It had a play area for the kids and plenty of space for the dogs. Both inside and out looked prepared for Zag fans, galore. The place was packed with generations of folks having a good time.
Their staff was attentive and extremely helpful; It can be stressful visiting a new place. W/ two dogs and a child they made it carefree.
They offer an expansive menu with offerings such as smash burgers, Nashville chicken sandos, bowls(we loved the pork verde), salads, and small plates. The Nashville sandwich was out of this world delicious 🌍🚀👨🚀👩🚀
(We took our food and some beer to go as we had a long drive earlier)
They had many a beer on tap. While there we had:
•BRIGHT SIDE, IPA | 7.3% •TIME AND SPACE, HAZY IPA | 6.2% •ANALOG DELAY, JUICY IPA | 6.8% •IN MOTION, JUICY PALE | 5.2% •JAPANESE LAGER, RICE LAGER | 5.2%
We took home a crowler of the...

Original: Uprise brewery fits well with the overall aesthetic of the Kendall Yards neighborhood. Their space is pretty large, with a large indoor seating area and a fairly large patio. I tried their Stout American Stout, and it was pretty solid. Nothing too special, but they managed to make a crisp stout without any baggage. My girlfriend tried the Title Pending Hazy IPA, and it was refreshing and balanced. For a soft open I would give them top marks, but the space seemed to lack a unique identity, only time will tell how they develop. They have an outdoor bar, but it isn't operational yet, I think it's inclusion will have an amazing impact on their overall vibe. Their patio is dog friendly and there's a dog park right across the street, you can't take your drinks over, but it's nice to have one so close! I think that Uprise could very well earn the 5th star, but for now I'll give them 4 well earned stars....
Read moreIn an extremely saturated brewery scene in Spokane, Uprise sets themselves apart with food. Unless you’re a beer snob, you’ll enjoy the beer here just like at any other place in Spokane. The chicken sandwich, smash burger, cauliflower, and fries are really great food items. I’ll have to come back to try more!
The arcade games are also really cool. I feel like this is a good spot to take kids, as it isn’t too rowdy and they have a decent kids menu.
The patio is a great spot to hang out, and they have plenty of space. The turf is actually kinda enjoyable which surprises me. Part of me wishes there was more natural landscaping, and maybe even some tree cover on the patio.
I do wish they had some more bike racks and it was easier to get here on my bike. It’s a lot safer for others around me to ride home than to drive after spending a full afternoon here. Well, and bike lanes too, but they can’t control that. With that said, parking here isn’t ideal since it’s a brewery within a neighborhood. You’ll probably be on the street. Honestly, I think this was a good choice and I hope it makes people consider taking an uber or...
