We had heard nothing but great things about Nectar, but I was very disappointed after our first visit tonight. After being rudely brushed off by the host at the front door, we made our way to the bar which was apparently, âopen seating.â Duh! As FIRST TIME guests youâd think weâd know this, or so the hostsâ attitude insinuated. We waited a solid 5 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. We were thrown a couple menus with no greeting, and sat another 5 minutes before being asked if we were ready to order. We were never asked if we needed help, needed suggestions, wanted tasting notes, etc. The drinks we ordered were delicious - a saison and a sour, both from Washington breweries. The selection of wine and beer/cider was WONDERFUL and the setting and atmosphere were great. But service was horrible and as a result, we WILL NOT be returning. I canât help but feel we were labeled as young 20 somethingâs who had less to offer than the middle aged group seated at a table behind us. We were ignored, brushed off, and made to feel that because we werenât âregularsâ we didnât deserve the attention and service that other...
Read moreAdd Nectar Wine and Beer on the visit places in Spokane. Stopped in for an early Saturday tasting and was pretty quiet. Our server was attentive and she gave us the tour, tastings and great tips for Glacier National Park. The tasting bar is really a great way to meet locals and share a drink or three... A limited snack menu is available with tasty accompaniments, cheeses and charcuterie. Nectar does allow local food so grab a pizza from Versalia or Baba across the way and enjoy on their patio with a few beverages of course.
Their wine selection is outstanding and the patio is kid friendly during the day. Canned beer, wine and slushies can be ordered to go. Nectar gets busy during Wednesday's Night Market and patio reservations are highly...
Read moreAWFUL AT CATERING!!!! First of all, they were late, and they forgot the potato salad. Our wedding guests had to wait about 45 minutes longer then we intended. Their chicken and coleslaw was very dry and the cook told all of my wedding guests they could only pick one kielbasa or one mini pulled chicken sandwich. He even grabbed the tongs out of a guests hands because they were taking two!!!! Their was coleslaw that fell on the table and he picked it up with his bare hands and put it back into the bowl. We are SO embarrassed and disappointed with who we chose to cater our wedding. The venue informed us that Nectar will not be allowed back. I will be personally emailing their manager. Way to much money for...
