Indaba Coffee — Restaurant in Spokane

This is a very lovely alternative to the tuff shed kiosk style coffee shops that are littered all over Spokane. Whereas most of the kiosk coffee shops are dedicated to pumping you full of high-octane caffeine and sugar this is actually a coffee shop with craft of coffee in mind. I had an oatmilk cortado and a drip coffee of Rwandan origin. The cortado was a little long on the pull so I couldn't detect much of what was going on with the espresso, but the drip coffee was light and lovely. This might be the first time in Spokane where the drip coffee was more than a costar to the cortado. I recommend...

Stopped by this morning for the first time ever due to a recommendation from coworker. The barista had extremely poor customer service skills, didn’t bother to greet us when we walked in and was rude when asking our orders. However, she did seem to be very nice to non-colored customers and engaged conversation. I am not the type to assume otherwise but there was a clear distinction in how she chose to speak to myself and my partner vs other customer goers. I hope it was a fluke morning otherwise great coffee and clean atmosphere. Won’t be returning back...

Slow service, there was only one other customer ahead of us. Barista's sarcasm just teetering on the rude side. This would have been excusable if the drinks were amazing. The ice in my americano was basically non existent by the time we got out of there. Lacking flavor.
