Things have changed for the worse. First off the app is a pain to navigate... will not use again. How does it take 3 weeks to still not issue a refund for a in-store pickup that Wendy's at this location failed to provide despite their online services saying that they had pickup available for in-store at 6:15 p.m. on February 22nd.. for a total of $38.64., Despite us showing up a few minutes early the line was out of the parking lot into the parking lot of Walmart, the doors were locked so there was no in-store pickup as the app said was available..., after 15 minutes in line in the Drive-Thru, we left to go get dinner for our family at another establishment.. We contacted Wendy's corporate and we're told somebody from the district would contact us and refund our money.., despite this it has been 3 weeks? no contact? no refund? multiple emails? attempted calls and no results whatsoever... Nonetheless this is why my five star review has went to one star..., because there's absolutely no professionalism from Wendy's Corporation or their districts or their affiliates ,and on top of this and multiple hours spent on the phone No Satisfaction and still $38 in the hole for food that I never received...... All in all this has been and is a terrible experience with Wendy's after years of great service from multiple locations including this one.. Depending on the outcome.... this review may get worse... will keep...
Read moreWe brought a group of 17 Junior High students to this location. I have brought similar sized groups to fast food locations and it is usually chaos - which is completely understandable. But, to the contrary, it was unbelievable how fast this Wendy’s got our orders in and food to us. And they did it politely as the Junior Highers acted like Junior Highers do. They did such a good job that the customers behind us were even making positive comments about the service. I asked the lady what her name was and she said “Angel.” I asked her if she was a manager and she said yes. Wendy’s, whatever you are doing to train and retain managers like her, you are wining! It was obvious that the rest of the crew in the back felt like a part of the team, knew their jobs, and executed them with excellence. Beyond the service, the food was excellent! One of the best fast food hamburgers I’ve had. Way to go Wendy’s! PLEASE keep doing what you are doing at this location. I’d maybe even suggest having some higher up management come to meet with Angel and ask her what she is doing to build such a climate of excellence. Well done Wendy’s! Read moreThe worst experience at a Wendy's ever. The crabby woman who was working the counter was complaining about how little she I believe she was a shift manager. The soda machine was out of ice, so the drinks were room temp, which was pushing 80 degrees because the AC could not keep up. The only bright spot in the whole dining experience was the new lady who took over the ordering process. I would assume she was late 30s and Hispanic. She was very positive and friendly. The food delivery was extremely poor. They skipped my order and 3 orders were filled before mine. The fries were not salted, and there was no salt in the dining room. The chili was not cooked all the way, and the chili beans were still too firm. Do yourself a favor, and the next time you are in Springfield, IL, just go next door to Culver's. Better food, better service, and better attitudes. To the lady who took my order, please apply at Culver's and get out of this...
