The Golden Arches are strapped to my yummy menu and OPEN 24hrs compelled me to go out my usual commute to access this location's food. Strapped with my Mobile App, I entered waiting in line at a window slide in the foyer or the first door's vestibule before where you normally open the second door to enter into the lobby. First time I seen one like that; and, I made a mental note thinking why this is so. Apparently, if you do not drive, such as I or the totally blind, you don't have the right to pay in partiality. So after spending almost what seemed like a half hour trying to edit my order for only debit, I was told my payment would not be processed and couldn't be completed through that sliding glass. DOORDASH. Only this third-party service could obtain, and only if you're not needing to use partial payments. Mind you, it's a three min. walk to the University. As a result I was "gifted" three very different tasting cheeseburgers; and, I am here for FRIES too! Each burger more unusual than the last suspect and although I was hungry enough to eat a horse, half of the second and ninety percent of the last burger ended on the ground due to the revolting taste. For minutes, I spat. I'm sure one patty was garnished after being summoned from the grease trap and it was firm as a rubber hockey puck. The other had a top bun that was slick and only could be classified to my taste buds as some unknown human's saliva. The condiments corroborated my thoughts when I glanced, having lifted the bun. I did have enough for pizza using another app and I used this lifeline. Certainly late to work, I still had to get satisfied. I won't be back and if I do lose that job I'm sure I can become a writer or perhaps a lab tech, I won't return to that location until I'm sure workers have real food for real customers and not hungry taxpayers with partial cash to...
Read moreI ordered a large fry at 19:05 on 08/15/23. I did curbside #3 b/c I fractured my left ankle. At 19:23 I walked in with my crutches. I waited to be acknowledged until I asked for a minute of the runners time once she had a minute. She told me just a minute. Then never came to attend to my inquiry, but the front counter, who ran out my 2 other sandwiches that I had ordered after the fries, handed me a bag with the large fry @ 19:26. I literally waited 21 minutes for a large fry, and there was 10+ employees working along with the supervisor!? I said something to her to acknowledge the 21 minute wait, and she just apologized barely!? It’s not on her, but why they get paid $15.00/hr!? The fries were cold bc they’ve been sitting on a counter that whole time, and she gave me these old, cold, nasty fries that were intended for at least 15-18 minutes before!? They weren’t even sitting in the heater, and she still served them!? I also can tell that they were undercooked!? The hot ‘N spicy mcchicken’s tasted like they were cooked in fish oil!? Which is cross-contamination from fish to chicken!? This whole restaurant crew from top to bottom needs to be completely re-trained from scratch!? Fast food restaurant workers want $15/hr, but they don’t qualify educationally!? $15/hr should automatically be drug tested for jobs b/c these workers probably smoke themselves senseless before, during, and after their work hours!? I honestly feel like nobody has passed their SOC’s, and have a food handlers card!? Most of the time these food items aren’t thrown away, or served undercooked that gives people food poisoning continuously!? Cooking the chicken, and pork, and serving it immediately isn’t reaching the recommended internal temperature! They’re only halfway cooked on the grill, and oil, and are suppose to finish cooking in the...
Read moreI will not be back to this McDonalds. I've been several times and the service has always been slow and completely unfriendly. Earlier this week I ordered a salad. Near the end of eating it, I had to spit out a very hard piece of black plastic about an inch in size. I did complain online and on the Banducci Enterprises facebook page. I will say the woman from Banducci did call me to hear what happened and try to make amends.
However, I had to take 20 minutes out of my day to drive the piece back to that McDonalds so they could "investigate." I was told the manager knew I was coming and would get the piece from me. When I walked in and told the gentleman working at the cashier he initially tried to take it and I explained I was told to give it to the manager. He said okay. Told one of his co-workers, who then gave me a really dirty look as if I was the problem and she was irritated I was there. He went back to the manager, came back to the front and told me he would take it back to them. I gave him the piece and waited thinking surely the manager would come up and say something. The cashier came back and saw me still standing there just said "oh they got it." and went on to take a customers order. The manager didn't even bother to get up and come talk to me, and no one apologized for what happened or thanked me for taking the time out of my day to bring the plastic back to them so they could figure out where it came from.
I believe the Banducci Enterprises rep said she would mail me something so we will see if I get a voucher or anything. I don't expect much but it would have been nice of the McDonalds staff to at least give me my money back for my meal or even just say thank you or I'm sorry since I had to drive back up there to give them the plastic.
Don't go to this McDonalds. Take your...
