I will not be dining at the Chili's location in Statesboro, GA any longer. My husband placed a call in order. When arriving to pick it up, the young lady in the "To Go Pickup" area was on the phone taking an order for at least 10 minutes. She did not acknowledge me upon arrival or during the duration of the 10 minutes that I was there. The restaurant was not very busy. Other employees did not even try to assist the young lady in this area. However, some employees were quite chatty with each other in the bar area. The young lady finally had to get assistance with the order she was taking from another employee. After assisting this young lady, the woman then proceeded to assist me and now another customer who was there with our to go orders that had previously been placed. When she came back from the cooking area to retrieve my pickup order, I was informed that there was no pickup order for my name. The young lady working the "To Go Pickup Orders" informed me that they were out of 2 items from the order that my husband had placed. They tried to call my husband back, but his phone must have been out of order because they could not get him on his phone. When asking the young lady what number she had written down, it was not correct. I told both women that they could cancel the order that I no longer wish to have it fulfilled. I did request to speak with the manager. I told him that I understood the issue with having written the incorrect number down. We are all human, but I did wanted him to know my dissatisfaction. The manager, Jermal, had nothing to say. No apology with the service given what so ever! I did explain to Jermal that I would be giving a formal complaint to the corporate office and requested his last name for reference. He refused to give me his last name due to it being too much of a personal question. I stated that how would corporate be able to know which person I was in reference to Incase if there were more than one Jermal that worked in this establishment. He informed me that he was the only Jermal that worked there. Unfortunately, because there is a lack of professionalism and work ethic within places of establishments this day and time, I definitely can see why businesses are going out of Business. This only makes me want to stay home more and cook a meal, rather than, pay an expensive price for food and service that may not live up to the price that a...
Read moreUsually i never do reviews but tonight was the worst experience iâve had at chilis. When my girlfriend, me, and her child came in we were immediately seated so thatâs a plus however we were not given a kids menu for the child. it was packed so i didnât expect everything to be fast however we were there for almost two hours 8pm-9:40pm most the time just waiting on a to go order. My girlfriend ordered mozzarella sticks and asked for nashville hot sauce, when it arrived all she got was the marinara sauce. the waitress came back to ask our order when i reminded her about the nashville sauce and she said she would get it, fast forward i get my food while my girlfriend is still waiting on her sauce. at this point she didnât want it because her food was already cold but i asked again anyway and she finally got it. We were also given no silverware nor straws for our meal or drinks. I asked for a to go order of boneless wings when i got my food around 8:30 we did not get the to go order until 9:40 when the waitress finally came back and looked confused as to why we were still sitting there. she apologized and said the to go person was supposed to bring it out, by then the wings were cold. the waitress asked if we wanted lids for our sauce which we never got. it might have been because they were so busy but there were so many problems with our dinner tonight that i donât think it was worth 100$ for no silverware, no straws, cold wings, mozzarella sticks with the wrong sauce, a kids pizza and my meal. the pizza and my meal were perfect besides no silverware to eat our food with (we both had sides of mac and cheese.) we seen our waitress one time after we had our food, never got the chance to ask for them either. To be fair we forgot to ask the one time she...
Read moreBottom line: don't go. My mom and my sister came in town to see me yesterday, and we picked Chile's to eat lunch at. The first time I ate there, it was really great which is why I wanted to go back. But yesterday I can't even explain how disappointing it was. As a server, I know how long it takes to put in orders and get food. Especially when the restaurant is slow (which it was, there was only about 6-7 tables and what looked like to be three servers). We waited nearly an hour for our food, while also watching a table that came in 10 minutes after us finish their meal and leave before we even got ours. My mom and sister got chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, and they came out wrong (for example, if you're wondering how a quesadilla could possibly come out wrong, my sister ordered fries with hers and just chicken and cheese, and it came with bacon and ranch and no fries). We also got side salads, which never came. My salad consisted of only lettuce, I mean c'mon. A bowl of lettuce and I didn't get it. I also ordered the big mouth bites, and by the time they came to me, they looked like they had been sitting out dying in the food window, and they came out wrong. I ordered just meat and cheese and they had mayo and what looked to be relish. We won't be going back, and considering I don't see my family a lot it was a huge disappointment having to go somewhere and have such a bad time especially when we all had such simple orders. The manager was really understanding and nice about it though, so I guess...
