Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Stickney Township

This was the rudest I have ever been treated at a resturaunt. They refused to wait on me and argued who was going to wait on me. Then the manager came out and so I thought was going to wait on me. And she was rude as hell and didnt want to serve me either told me they was closed.. I replied how late you open and she replies we clise at 9 (which the door said 10) and it was 8:30.. so I pointed to the clock and said ummm your open another 30 min..she said well we are out of chicken.. I said what about the pile up on the shelf right there.. she asks is that what you want?.. then she looks at me and tells me, This is to go!!! Joking I say "hell if your closed and you have that pile of chicken left throw a cpl extra pieces in there" she whips around real fast and rwplies with a angry looking face and replies "I TOLD YOU WE WERE CLOSED AND YOUR LUCKY YOUR GETTING ANYTHING!" Then yells out to the woman in the lobby to lock the door.. I stood at the door 5 min while they looked at me before someone actually came over to let me out. I dnt know if it was because I was the only white person there but seemed funny Im the only one they had a problem with.. I was in a great mood that day so I stood there quite and spoke politely.. never even got mad and yelled.. just kinda laughed at them for their attitude towards me.

Update: Contacted the Popeye Corporation and filed a complaint now things have gotten better. Was 5 months before I wld go back.. but I tried it again and the last cpl times I went there I was very pleased with the service. The lady at the registure waa...

Save yourself the time and money and go anywhere but here. This location has absolutely horrible service and astronomical wait times. They clearly have no idea how to run a restaurant, I don't even think there was 1 single person behind the counter that had ever worked in food service. They were all lost and clueless. I waited over 25 minutes for 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. When I arrived, there was no line to order at the drive-thru, and I was told to pull up past the pick-up window to wait for my order. There was 1 other customer waiting inside. A few more people went inside from what I could see they were picking up online orders. After about 15 minutes, I got out of my car and went inside to find out what the hold up was. Immediately upon entering the restaurant, I can see and hear what appeared to be the cook arguing with other staff in the kitchen. There were between 10 and 15 people working behind the counter, and they were all just standing around, taking back what was going on. I asked for my order, and the guy behind the counter didn’t know what my order even was. They offered no apology, not even an explanation to why my order was taking so long. Eventually, food started to get handed out, and I was the last customer to receive their order. When I got home, I did not even bother to open my food. I understand that times are different because of Covid, but that does not give employees an excuse to be exceptionally rude. I placed an order to pick up in store. When I came to the door it was locked, so I went to the other side. Mind you, there were two customers inside at the time. This door was also locked. An employee saw me standing there and walked right past me. An older couple did the same thing as me and walked from one door to the other. They stood there with me confused about what was going on. Please keep in mind that there are absolutely no signs posted anywhere that state drive thru only. Still, it is an interesting time so I understand if they are not letting customers into the store (then again, why were two other customers in there?). Finally, an employee came to the door and told me very rudely that it was drive thru only. I said that I didn’t understand because there were other customers inside, but she yelled that it’s drive thru only and that I need to drive up like everybody else regardless of what the app says, rolled her eyes, and closed the door.
