I love Olive garden! The only location I will never come back is here at Burbank. The only reason I ate there is because it was closer to my Godson. We were gone stop by and visit later on after dinner. Otherwise we would of gone to Orland Park or Lombard location, they have much better service. The guy server that took care of us named Sergio T. His attitude and service was completely poor. It's like he didn't want to be there at all. As server he sucks. The only thing he brought was our drinks, salad and breadsticks. That's all. Uhh. Where are the utensils? Are we supposed to eat with our hands?? Then he's like Oh you don't have utensils? Seriously? Then he disappeared never came back. A real nice girl who had well manners was extremely polite with my mom had great service asked us if we needed plates for our appetizers. I think she should of been our server not Sergio. My mom even insinuate to give the tip to her instead of the other guy. She was practically helping all the servers with their food. When Sergio came back we asked for more salad, because we always asked for seconds. Sergio our server disappeared and never came back. When he got back our food was here and we began eating it. Like 20 to 30 minutes later he came back with the salad. We told him don't want it no more. He got upset and left. The last time he came back my mom was still eatting the appetizers from her plate. When the guy came back and took her plate away among the others. Then he brought back those plastic To-go plates, plastic bags and some mints. He never bothered to asked us, if we're doing okay? Can I get you anything else? Nope. It's like he was rushing us to leave. I should of seen the sign right from the beginning where the two girls in front, didn't give my mom access to the site from Olive Garden. Then I asked her to put my number instead, still did not have access to it as well. I had to go back and tell her no text. I don't think I will ever return here again. Unless their new staff and servers with better service. I don't understand why it has fours stars for reviews! Maybe it's because of the food? That's the only reason I can think of. Because the service and staff was poor and horrible. Everyone felt like they were dead with less energy like they were dragging themselves to move around. I thought I was in one of the scenes from The Walking Dead. Dealing with...
Read moreSo, my Fiancé decided to take me out to olive garden on 3/19/23, as I have never gone before. He insisted it be a good time and I agreed. Before entering the establishment, there was so much trash outside the front door. This was our first red flag, especially for me. Then, as we entered into the store, the hosts were completely rude to the guests ahead of us and didn't have any remorse for it. As we were next, my Fiancé requested a table for two. We were told an hour wait, as it was fine because we went shopping. Thirty minutes into us finishing our shopping, we received a called from a rude host telling us our table is ready. My fiancé stated "we thought it would be an hour", her response "well, if you're not here in 5 minutes; you'll be waiting in an hour". I told my fiancé, I will check her as we were already pulling up to the establishment once again (second red flag). We pull up to the front as a lot of people had already left, just to see the same disgusting trash and liquor bottles on the floor and bench. Upon walking in, I addressed the rudeness to the host and the lack of cleaniness of the outside of the store. Another host politely address us to where we would be seated. As we turn the corner, you'll see the guys on their phones, oppose to working. We ask the host where is the manager, as their failing crew lacks doing their job (third red flag). The host pointed us to the table meant to seat 6-8. Again, it was just us two and placed the menu on the dirty table and never stated someone would be there to wait to us nor the mess (finally straw). My fiancé apologies for their lack of cleaniness and professionalism to the establishment, as I insisted its not his fault. I can gladly say everyone should be handle with from the front end of the house from 3:45p to 4:30p. I insisted we can continue with our Italian night as I booked our reservations to one of my favorite spots called Palermos. If I do try Olive gardens in the near future, it will not...
Read moreEvery was going well food and service wise until the entrees came out. They brought out the food for my table at the same time as the table next to us. They served them first and I was the last to receive my plate but it was the wrong order. They gave my chicken Alfredo with crispy chicken to the wrong table and someone started eating it. My waiter Miguel said the plate was touched and they would switch it. 3 minutes later they came back out with the same food on a different plate. I know it was the same food because I seen how it was plated when served to the other table. When the second plate was brought out it was brought out by the manager all the chicken was mostly under the pasta it looked as if they dumped the food on a new plate and stirred it up not to mention the temperature of the food was colder compared to my girlfriends food which was hot. Upon bringing it to the attention of my waiter he said my order was remade with a slight attitude and chuckled. I didn't eat any of the food and requested it to be taken off the bill which was a problem for the waiter at first. Funny thing was when he talked to the manager she took it off the bill without talking to me about it. Poor service from the waiter and the management team. I usually visit the location in Orland Park and never had an issue like this. I will not be back to this location. The other customer could have hepatitis or another disease that could have been transferred from saliva and they have no regard for the well-being of their customers or they just don't understand the risks of working in the food industry which is even worse because one day someone will get really sick. If they do things like this who knows looking what else they do when...
