I love Best Buy as a company but as far as the store location goes for Burbank it sucks. Been coming here for years and the customer services is the worst. When i bought my mac pro 2-3 years ago no one came by to ask if i was being helped-nothing, for a good 40mins. I had to go find someone to help me. I really wanted to get the manager so that way no employee got commission off the sale because they didn’t deserve it. Since then I usually go all the way to Crestwood which is further from me because i get way better service. Only time i go to burbank now is just to make a payment or buy a accessory for my phone when needed or something i can just quickly get off the shelf.. Christmas came around, same issue, no help. Had to go find someone yet again and made almost a $500 purchase.. Going in today reminded me of why I don’t take my business there. Walked in and was not greeted. Had a pickup, asked the girl if they had it on display before the ticket got picked up and she didn’t know and just pointed to the back. The employees there have ear pieces to communicate with each other but maybe not all do but theres enough people there for them to step away from their post to help look for the display or at least get someone from the electronic department to help but nope.. walked myself back there, only one person asked if i was finding everything alright and i said yes and they kept walking.. as a sales person you should do way better than that to get a sale. If they seriously continue to interact with me i would of told them i bought a tv online but i was thinking of getting a better one but that didn’t happen. Left the store with the tv i got online. Upon leaving the store I wasn’t acknowledged either, didn’t get a have a good day until the person had to check my receipt to make sure the product was for the person. So to the manager who is in charge of the whole store, i would advice you to talk to your other managers to have them work with their department on their sales tactics. “ Are you finding everything alright?” isn’t enough and that their employees should minimize their interaction amongst each other and more with the customers because i saw a few having side conversations instead of helping ...
Read moreI stopped in on 8/2/25 and was asked if I needed help and was directed to the mobile area to purchase a Galaxy Z Fold 7. The guy that walked over, Wilmer, looked like he couldn't be bothered to help me and made it seem like I was wasting his time. He didn't ask me any questions and I had to tell him everything I wanted. First he asked me if I wanted the 7 or the FE which is the Flip not the Fold, so he didn't seem too knowledgeable about the products. I literally had a Z Fold 6 in my hands and advised I wanted the Z Fold 7.
After I explained I wanted the Z Fold 7 open box that was listed on their website, he told me, without even glancing at the cage behind him, that it was at the outlet store and they had closed at 6PM (It was 7:05). I showed him on the site where it was at their location and he just stared at me for a second and looked around.
At that point I asked for a manager and then he walked away for about ten minutes and came back with another employee, a girl with glasses and tattoos. They looked through the phones in the cage and I heard her state that maybe it was in the back. After another five minutes, she came and told me they couldn't find it.
She then proceeded to tell me that it was possible someone returned it and repurchased it, thus causing a computer glitch. She said these happen all the time.
I explained that I had drove an hour and with the half hour I wanted and the return trip, I was out 2 and a half hours. She just kinda shrugged and I walked out.
I called customer service and they advised that I could go there to pick up the phone and when I advised they did not have it, she told me I should be able to go back there and get it. I decided to just forget the whole thing.
This, a long with another issue I had a year or so ago, will cause me to never step foot in this store again. Their customer service and attitude leave much to be...
Read moreCustomer service was horrible. I walked in and was not greeted by 1 person. I went straight to the cellphone counter and saw 5 employees . Only one was working with a customer as I approached . I asked is anyone was free to help. The only response came from the young lady actually working with a customer. She said to give her a few minutes. This seemed ridiculous considering she was doing a cellphone transaction. I was going to wait and then decided to just walk up to the other idle workers who were chatting with each other and ask whether they carried a charger for my phone. The worker walked from behind the counter and walked a few feet to the cell accessories and said these are the chargers and turned to walk away. I had to call her back to ask if the posted sale applied to the charger I had selected. She said that I had to buy 3 things to get 25% off. I asked if it had to be 3 charging accessories and she told me that phone cases were included and walked away. The phone cases were not in this particular aisle. I was not being rude so I was confused about why I couldn't get genuine help. I was not in the store about 15 minutes. I will say that I was the only "me" in the store. The customers and everyone else was an "other". I waited in line to pay and the cashier couldn't bother to smile or say hello but she did say " phone number?" I'm sorry I don't give my number out to strangers much less, some cashier who couldn't be bothered to say hello and be pleasant enough to smile. This is exactly how big box stores find their names on the list of stores filing for bankruptcy. People come to stores for service. I could have had a better experience making this purchase on Amazon. The store was practically empty this particular Saturday evening I visited. I won't be...
