The most popular breakfast place in downtown Stowe, Vermont is worth the hype! Butler’s Pantry is an excellent restaurant that serves everything you could possibly want in the morning. From coffee to pancakes to omelets to biscuits and even maple sausages, this place has everything! Be prepared to wait a LONG time for a table - we made the mistake of not reserving for a group of 4 ahead of time and had to wait an hour! Don’t make our mistake and place yourself on the waiting list on the Yelp app way ahead of time!! However, even though we waited so long, I can still say it was excellent and I would totally be going back! Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time!

We got several different things: coffee, maple lemonade, buttermilk pancakes, omelets, cheddar jalapeño pancakes, fresh fruit, loaded home fries with maple sausage, biscuits, and a side of more maple sausage! The pancakes were excellent (big portions), biscuits were good (maybe our least favorite thing but still would get again), maple lemonade was incredible, omelets were exactly what we were looking for, and cheddar jalapeño pancakes were so unique, but amazing!! The cheddar jalapeño pancakes were the star of the show for the main portion of the meal, and the maple sausage was THE BEST breakfast sausage we ever had! PLEASE do yourself a favor and get yourself maple sausage with your meal. It doesn’t matter if it’s just the side or in the loaded home fries. You won’t regret it!! Best thing on the whole menu!! This place is really good, super busy, and you can easy see why once you get your breakfast! We will definitely be...

During our recent fall trip to Vermont, we decided to try out this highly recommended brunch spot in Stowe. It is a cute little spot inside a vintage house. Prior to driving here, I noticed you can join their waitlist on Yelp and this is how you can save alot of your time instead of waiting at the restaurant itself. Closer to our time, we walked in and there was a huge line of folks who had not put their name through yelp and said the wait time was 1 hour minimum. We were seated immediately and wasted no time in ordering the following items here: French Toast with maple sausage: Amazing. No words. Their maple sausage is LIT. It was so good I ordered 2 sides of their maple sausage alone. The french toast itself was also tasty. Acai bowl: My husband enjoyed his bowl and the fruits were all fresh and seasonal too. Drink: Irish coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. I really liked their orange juice while their irish coffee was also good.

This place is absolutely one of the BEST brunch places I have eaten at. Service was a tad bit slow but I totally get it since they were fully booked. The servers are nice and help you navigate their favorite items too. Tip: Yelp waitlist usually opens at 8:00 am so please make use of this and get a few extra mins of sleep. They have parking spots at the back side of the restaurant so that was convenient. All in all anytime I come back to Stowe I will be here. Highly recommend this gem of a...

The food was a little disappointing. I ordered a tomato juice that was chilled perfectly. The breakfast sandwich biscuit I ordered with an egg over easy , ham and cheese with a side of fruit is at issue. Only the top half of the biscuit came with the sandwich, the bottom was a hash brown like the fast food restaurant. The hash brown was greasy as was the biscuit half. Where is the other half of the biscuit? The Hash Brown was not expected. The ham was thick and tough , lacking flavor. It was obviously over cooked. The bowl of fruit was diced very small. It was almost minced. It consisted of cantaloupe, pineapple and literally 5 blueberries. The coffee was ok but had a very desernable sour taste. My wife had eggs bacon toast and home fries. It was ok but the bacon was candied with maple syrup. No problem with that but it way over cooked leaving the maple syrup with a burnt taste. The waitress was efficient and friendly. The front of the house was immaculate. The total was over 50.00 not including the tip. For the price I wouldn't expect mistakes with the food, especially breakfast. Maybe we will try it again...

Average food and service across the board. Bacon was obviously sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Looks like they cook it in bulk and toss it on a plate in the kitchen, that’s why it’s so dry and chewy. It was tough, almost the toughness of beef jerky. I’ve never had bacon that you have to bite into like jerky. The eggs were “ok” since it’s hard to mess up eggs. We didn’t like the Klingers Toast either. It was served dry and they give you one pack of butter which is enough for 1/2 piece of toast. I got the sourdough which didn’t taste like sourdough to me. The waitress flew by us several times and I couldn’t even stop her to get more butter. She was attentive to refill coffee though. Overall a very average experience. Next time I’ll skip this place.
