READ READ READ! I'm the kind of person who never leaves Reviews but this Petco deserves mine! So this Review goes for Courtney Trefney she works out of the Wadsworth Location as well. So first off I have a Family Of 6 Teacups Poms wish I tho bringing them to Petco due to it was a close to my House i could manage bringing them to the same person! Well lets be short! First time I brought Precious to Her She Cut her Back Right Paw making her bleed when i 8 years none of my Groomers Have cut or Done anything like that to any of my dogs! But accidents Happens! Second time I brought Brownie and Papi She went Home after She was done with the Pups Leaving them Behind in the back Room all Alone knowing Papi gets Seizures and can't not be alone! well I got to pick them up and There was nobody to come get them in the whole freaking store I had to go back there myself and get my own dogs!She said they weren't alone for to long well and of course the manager Alway try to cover everything up! I called her out and she said she her shift was ended and she needed to go Home! thats how much they care about your pups! Today Feb 26 Brownie and Maxi had an appoiment @ 11am and when i walk in as always theres is nobody to greet you and check in your Dogs!15 minutes in Courtney come out she acts like what are w doing today I told her I would like the same service you did last time and if you can use a different conditioner on my male dog because last time it felt like you just rinse him out and that was it! Well her attitude Drop Like well if you want that package is going to be extra! Im like well chose the package there fits my Dog! She keeps staring at the computer i Can feel the tension building up and I look at her told her this isn't a car wash this isn't a free service and your not doing me a favor cause I'm paying for 6 PUPS !Go ahead and cancel this appoiment! then before i left I requested speak to Leah the Grooming Department manager where Leah Honestly I believe this Department needs someone who really stands for the costumers needs! Once i was done talking to her I spoke to the store manager and what it really piss me off was like we can't use good conditioner on your dog unless you pay for that add on package otherwise we are losing money!So there now u have your own answer They Don't care about your Furry Friend @ all! Now there i got it all out out my chest i fell Better knowing they Lost 6 Furry Friends there every month and Tipping them $30-40 for every visit and Trust me if you want to Take A risk on your Pet Go Ahead! I be Posting my Review in Yelp as we speak cause this store Grooming Department Needs to Be Shutdown or find a new management Replacement together with the staff! Read moreI have been going to the Strongsville Ohio Petco store for years...I have spent countless hours and thousands of dollars there. I have became friends with the employees and have developed wonderful relationships with them. I run dog pages with thousands of followers and have promoted Petco through live videos and posts. Recently I started a Foundation in memory of my Boston terrier I lost suddenly. Paw it Forward 4D Foundation. I am a part of the Petco Foundation and am very thankful for that. I have many dogs and I used the grooming department a lot, Having nails painted ect... I did this nearly weekly for months. I was extremely impressed by a wonderful groomer. Last month She lost her job, Why...I don't know all details and do not need to know, but I felt awful she lost it right before the Holidays. I took it upon myself to purchase a grooming table and invited her to my home to earn some extra money as it was the holidays... It wasn't going to be on going, I wanted to help her with money because thats the person I am. Well apparently the stores manager was not happy with my decision and started bad mouthing me to employees, this all came back to me and I was so offended I was talked about like this after all I have done for the store and its employees ( gifts ect..). I was a loyal customer and client I.e. dog training. The treatment this manager has given me and the things she has said about me are awful. I am sad, hurt and angered. I feel my Foundation will hurt from this and that angers me. This store is close to my home and I can honestly say I will never go there again as long as this manager is there. Team leaders should never behave this way. The drama created by this manager is unprofessional and a disgrace to Petco as a whole. I do not feel my relationships with people are any of a store managers business in the store or outside of it, I do not work for Petco. Why am I talked about by a manager to her employees in front of other customers??Now, I am extremely thankful this manager helped me with 550 lbs of dog food for shelter dogs, the countless boxes of treats, bones, chews ect...and Allowing my Foundation to benefit from Santa in the store at 10.00 a photo ( My husband was Santa) I still haven't received all the money from that and corporate should know this. But, to bring in personal opinions over my relationships with people hurt the store and is completely unprofessional on her part and insulting to me and my Foundation. In the end I am a customer and should never have been treated this way. Because of this manager relationships are ruined and business will be greatly lost at this store. Read moreI was extremely upset after picking my dog up from petco at the groomers. When I dropped my dog off his groomer Alyssa did not even try and let him sniff her first before yanking his collar away from me. My dog is very skittish at first and I explained this before anyone even took him from me. We were told it would be no longer than an hour and 45 minutes, over 2 hours later we decided to just go back to the store because we had not gotten a phone call yet. my dog was not in the little glass room so I went up and asked if he was ready the response was " we are busy so we put him back in the cage before he gets brushed... another little side note, my dog does not do well in a cage and our groomer was working on another dog, so how long had my dog been in there. I make an appointment for a reason and I am sorry but I am not worried about the walk in appointments, my dog was there first. Of course as soon as we said something they went and got him and started brushing him, he gets brushed at least 4-5 times a week so this is nothing new to him and he was throwing a fit, I was hiding behind the bird cages so that he did not see me but he was trying to jump off the table away from the girl, I could tell he was not happy. When they brought him out to be he was panting, his eyes were bloodshot and his ears were bright red, you could tell he had been struggling. Keep in mind this is not his first time here and all the other times he walks out with no problems because he had MUCH better groomers. His nails were cut but never buffed so they were starting to strip, I had to buff them myself (even though I paid for her to do it). He was also supposed to get a "seasonal" bandana as a part of the package I ordered, again he never got that. His ears were still dirty and I am not happy, he will NOT be coming to PETCO anymore and I will be switching his food over to something else because we use their brand as well.
