DiBella's Subs — Restaurant in Strongsville

Suggested to my friends that we meet up at DiBella for a quick lunch. WHAT A MISTAKE! Service was so slow, food was mediocre and EXPENSIVE! They charged my gluten-free friend $14.95 for a container of tuna salad! No lettuce, tomatoes, or any other extras, just tuna salad. When I questioned the manager about the price, she said that's the price for a large tuna sub and it was 5 scoops of tuna salad...the same as they put on the sandwich. . I asked her if the cost was made apparent and agreed upon with my friend, the other server said no, but that's the cost of a large sandwich. But she didn't get a sandwich. Just plops of tuna fish. There was no attempt by management to make any adjustment to her bill. Way to accommodate and exploit those with good allergies! I was so embarrassed that I suggested we eat here! Save yourself time and $$ and go to Subway. DiBella is nothing...

Made my first trip to Dibella's today. The guy that started off taking my order was nice but I was not sure how to order and how the process worked. I ordered two subs and I was given two buzzers. I was than told after waiting a few minutes to go to the other end of the counter. From their no one explained that I had to walk up to the register and wait for someone. The kid than asked how he could help me and I told him I wanted to pay for my food. He asked what I ordered and told him the numbers on my buzzers. He told me "I don't know numbers" I asked how do I pay for what I ordered? He told me to tell him what I ordered. I did and all went fine. No utensils were given with my macaroni salad side. Food was okay would be better with a sauce or Mayo which was not offered. Overall confusing process with no help or explanation from any of the staff. Food...

DiBellas is one of my favorite sub shops in Rochester, NY; so when I was in Cleveland for business, I made a special trip to the Strongsville location. I was amazed to see that the location was decorated and set up exactly the same as my old haunt - it was really comforting to sit there and eat my sub! The staff was all super friendly. Even though they were very busy with call-in orders, I still had my sub before I finished deciding which kind of cookie to get (fwiw: oatmeal raisin is just as yummy as my normal chocolate chip with walnuts!).

If anyone is having trouble deciding what to order, I recommend a Godfather with Oil, Provolone & all your favorite...
