I had the worst dining experience. The cook and a waitress called out. The cashier in the front was taking orders, bussing tables and trying to be helpful. She took my order after 35 minutes of waiting, and my food turned into take out because it took 90 minutes. The owner did not come out to speak with me when I requested to speak with him. The cashier apologized. The owner came out and served all the individuals that were younger chips and salsa while they waited for food. He looked at me and the table and ignored me the whole time. The other couple also appeared to be in their fifties did not get chips and were ignored. They finally had to request chips. People that came in 30 minutes after I arrived were served their food and gone. Is there age discrimination? I was not offered a comp after spending close to $20 for lunch. If you appear to be over 50 years of age, please consider skipping this place. I am contacting headquarters and possibly considering pursing an age discrimination investigation. This place...
Read moreWhen I arrived someone had left the door open to the 20 degree air outside and it was freezing. My son and I ate in our parkas. That said, the service was excellent, truly great. For east coast Mexican food this was awesome. If it was SoCal I'd give it a 4, but it isn't so I'm rating it by is peers. I had the carnitas plate which was served with black beans, rice, sautéed onions and peppers, shredded cheese, a slice of Avocado, and shredded lettuce. Also four tortillas. Many restaurants have gotten stingy with them but the host/ waitress kept offering me more! My son had tacos with rice and beans. All was very good. Plus I asked for hot sauce and they brought me what looked and tasted like a homemade habanero sauce. (I asked for "really hot," you don't get that if you don't want it.) We were on the road and couldn't have asked for a better choice! Highly...
Read moreI ordered a veggie burrito with shrimp. First I’ll say it was decent however the burrito had in it yellow rice, rice( yes a separate rice from the yellow which means two different types of rice) and beans, corn and shrimp. This doesn’t sound like a veggie burrito with shrimp. If you look at what comes with a veggie burrito it way more than just beans rice and corn. I was very upset that they served me this. Unfortunately, I was unable to check as it was a pick up order picked up by someone other than myself. I ended paying $21 for a veggie burrito with shrimp and a side of pico de gallo. If I was there personally to pick this up I would have never got it. As this is false advertising. Read what’s in the veggie burrito and you will see. It also says add meat for an extra cost. I got beans rice and corn….. what??!?!? Not acceptable, needless to say I...
