On 3/25/23, we entered the store and placed our order at the kiosk at 06:53 PM. We proceeded to stand near the counter to await our order. The business was hustling. They were at peak business with Door Dash orders, counter orders, and a full drive through, so we expected some wait. However, after 10-15 minutes waiting, and seeing other customers who ordered after us receive their food and walk out, we became concerned. More than once we made eye contact with counter employees and eventually attracted attention to ask about our order. "It's coming up" or "It's not ready yet" were the replies and we were finally given our drink cups to fill on our own. Customers continued to come and go for another 20-25 minutes as we lingered in the line waiting for our food. Dozens were served in the drive through. We still didn't have our order. We continued to occasionally ask. Eventually after about 40 minutes, and speaking to employees and a shift manager, we were finally handed a hurriedly assembled bag of food which we checked for accuracy. It was missing one of the ordered sandwiches. We had to wait another five minutes while an employee went back to the line to make the sandwich for us. Finally, at 7:43 PM, 50 MINUTES after ordering via kiosk, we finally walked out with our food. Needless to say, we were dissatisfied. When we sat to eat the meal a few minutes later, we were further unhappy to discover that one of the burgers was not fully cooked and the chicken nuggets were nearly completely cold. The only thing I can say good about the experience was that the fries were hot. This is single-handedly the longest I ever remember waiting for a fast-food order and is probably my worst fast-food experience in decades. I definitely won't return to this store and will be predisposed to avoid McDonald's...

I went in on the day they brought back the "new" Snackwrap's, which weren't that great, but that's not a location/restaurant issue, so I won't put blame on them. I had to ask your GM about the Snackwrap because another female employee refused to put in my order for it, & told me to "just use a kiosk." You can't use a kiosk for an in store deal like "free item(s) to the first 50" customers, etc. The GM got me what I wanted, then I ordered another Snackwrap separately.
I ordered 26 McNugget's to take back with me for dinner. The cashier girl asked me my order number, & I told it to her. It was 15-20 minutes & still no food. I told her my order number again, about 5-10 minutes later, still with no food, I saw my number disappear from the screen, like someone had cleared it off, meaning they had to have served it off. I think the girl was disrespecting me & intentionally cleared it off.
I had to call the cops to get my food. Your employee & GM refused to give me my food, after showing them proof & evidence that it was paid for. I have a confirmed Cashapp finalization of my purchase. I actually worked at a McDonald's myself before & another chain restaurant, I know how online/mobile ordering works, I've ordered from countless McDonald's an infinite amount of times & other restaurants online/mobile, the same as well.

Read moreIn my 24 years of living I have never seen a Mcdonald’s so bad. I waited inside 40+ minutes for a $3.50 bundle and 4 pies. The only reason I got my food within that time was because I was standing at the front of the store the whole time and an employee FINALLY acknowledged me amidst all the chaos. I’m not sure what was going on behind the counter but it sounded like a hot mess. I’ve been to a busy Mcdonald’s in NORFOLK and never waited even half that time. Oh yeah almost forgot my food was made and left on the counter with the bags so it had to be remade. I watched the screen the entire time I was there and heard many letters and numbers but never “723”. The food honestly p* me off. My bottom bun was hard and my fries were greasy and soggy. I was SO close for just asking for a refund after standing there for so long but a nice young gentleman in red crocs helped me and got me my food. My brother is greedy so even if the pies were subpar he inhaled them and went back to what he was doing. I honestly won’t be surprised if the pies aren’t good either. Respectfully, they could of kept this garbage. If you end up in this area and are hungry DO NOT stop at this Mcdonald’s. I’d suggest STARVATION first than to suggest or EVER set foot in this sticky, dirty and disorganized Mcdonald’s again. After this experience I will never complain about Norfolk fast food...
