It was a late Saturday night when I approached this place with an overwhelming hunger for a burrito. Trusting the reviews on Google, I walked in, confident. I put in my order and sat down, “surely my food will be ready soon!” I thought optimistically. I waited for what seemed like forever, but was actually 40 minutes. As I wiggled in my chair, every minute becoming more overcome by hunger, I turned my gaze toward the kitchen in the hopes of seeing my order being made. To my despair, that is not what I saw. Instead, I saw a man, a gloveless man, picking at what could have only been his last molar. Our eyes locked. Flustered, he immediately went in the back to wash his hands. But I knew. I knew what you, the reader, also knows. I could feel it. That man had just finished making my burrito. As another employee brought me my order, my whole life flashed before my eyes. So many regrets, so many mistakes, all bringing me to this moment. And that night, my friends, I made a decision. To have Five...
Read moreCame here for a couple of burritos. 2 breakfast burritos and 1 carne asada super burrito with all salsa verde. We also ordered 3 glass bottled drinks and we ordered them to go.
Arriving home, the bag that had the 3 drinks in it had soda all over the bag. Who ever put the sodas didn't realize that even though they probably were about to open the coke and was told we ordered to go, it left a tiny opening which allowed the soda to spill out which meant I had no coke to drink, terrible.
None of our burritos had salsa verde in them and my boy friend's super burrito didn't come super. What I don't understand is, we had the cashier read the entire order back to us and it was correct, but some how the kitchen staff didn't get it right. Very disappointing since we paid a lot of money. Won't be...
Read moreI ordered a super burrito, which typically includes cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. However, I was surprised to find that my burrito was primarily filled with 80% rice, with only 10% meat and an unexpected 10% of the spiciest salsa I've ever encountered. The first bite left me sweating and my tongue burning, making it an unpleasant experience that felt akin to the one-chip challenge.
What disappointed me further was the $16 price tag for the super burrito, especially since it didn't even include cheese. It would have been helpful if the restaurant had provided a warning about the spice level when ordering.
The churro I ordered could have redeemed the meal, but unfortunately, it was dry, hard, and served cold. Overall, my dining experience left much...
