I've been going to Lions Choice for decades. It was always the best fast food meal in town. This evening, my wife picked up dinner here. It was possibly the worst fast food we've ever gotten. Order was for 2 king size RB with swiss, one large FF and a large drink. The sandwiches were normal sized instead of king, no cheese, and the beef was overcooked, cold and dry. (I added my own cheese) The french fries were not only cold, they were also dry and kind of hard, like they'd been under a heat lamp for hours. I have never gotten worse food, and the order wasn't even correct. You would think that since everybody was patronizing these places during the pandemic, the food would be top notch. Sadly, the opposite seems to be the case. Never going back to this restaurant.

It seems like no matter which Lion’s Choice you visit, you’ll have a good experience. Johnny, at this location, made this an outstanding visit. They featured a new platter menu that has the roast beef being served on Texas toast. They were out of TT this evening so Johnny insisted on providing us with 2 free drinks and 2 free orders of fries. It wasn’t even a question in his mind, he simply made a decision and owned it. That’s top notch customer service! I do suggest trying one of the new platter choices. And, if you’re at this location then say hi to Johnny.

This place is pathetic. I ordered the sandwich with 45% more meat. Look at the site photos and compare it to that pathetic thing I got. It was more bread than meat. And that "Bowl" (yeah, sure) of soup was more like " a cup" broccoli and cheese sauce. It's all bland and almost tasteless. The good reviews must be friends who won't tell them they suck, or they are paid people.

First of all, I love the roast beef. But there is not a low enough ranking to describe my experience at Sunset Hills. I pulled up to the drive thru at 520pm, aka dinner time. No one in front of me. 3 employees standing outside smoking. Complete silence from the speaker. I saw a tall dark haired young man with facial hair walk inside (this is 3+ minutes after I'd been sitting in the drive thru) and the voice thru the speaker says "I'll be with you in a moment". WHAT?! Then I see the same young man come back outside?! I drove through and pulled to the front and parked. Went inside. One customer being waited on at the counter, and I see the same young man walking to the drive thru window. He made eye contact with me and said, "Were you just in the drive thru?" I said "I was but all you guys were outside smoking." He said (politely BTW), "Well I said I'd be with you in a minute. We had 3 orders up up front." Are you for real?! Maybe if you didn't take your smoke break in the middle of the dinner "rush" you could get those orders out faster and, I don't know, maybe even take an order from a drive thru customer too! I was going to ask for a manager but, honestly, I couldn't tell who (if anyone) was in charge and it seemed like a...

Curious to try a new place and as the saying goes curiosity killed the cat. First off not sure how this restaurant survived to become a small chain. As far as the chain goes, the portions are small the price is large. 7 dollar sandwich but 14 dollar meal (adds fries and drink), make that make sense. All sandwiches come doused in sauces so read carefully the contents of each before choosing. Specific to this location, I came about an hour before closing and the first person was rude, pushy and when I said what size I wanted he had an attitude saying he didn’t know what I was talking about. I had to read the menu for him to comprehend. His attitude was overheard by the manager and she took over. The fries were cooked fresh but nevertheless came out oil drenched and soggy, the sandwiches slapped together, and the macaroni I ordered was still cold not having been heated up sufficiently. Concerning taste, I again fail to see how this chain has made it. It was best to carry on the evening having not eaten as opposed to allowing the entire meal into my system. Will not return to any location and definitely will...

We love Lions Choice, used to work in Sunset Hills so I’ve been here a lot. Unless you like well done steak, always get the roast be as it comes. My wife does not like med rare steak, but she loves LC med rare. I get provel on mine and the wife likes Swiss. The last time here I tried the Italian beef and it was really good! It’s a step below the guys doing it in Chicago and NYC where I’ve had Italian beef at the nationally known places, but this was surprisingly very good. My only complaint is recently, and this is confirmed at 3 different locations in the STL area, if you eat in the restaurant the large fries are not large. Very disappointed. The last time we stopped in a week ago we finally decided that next time we will order our food to go and eat there. Anyway, the food is always great, the fries are fresh, and the restaurants...
