Charlie's Pastries — Restaurant in Tamarac

There is another Jamaican Restaurant in the corner that recommended them for patties. I am now equally upset with them because i see no reason to recommend this place. Simply put, they put almost zero filling in their patties.

I ordered basic 2 patty and a coco bread, when I got back to work i bit into the first patty and got pure pastry, Thats pretty standard as it slides to the bottom, around the center i realized i was still eating pure pastry. At this point i decided to open it and see what was going on so I opened the patty. There was such little filling on the inside that i immediately thought it was a mistake someone made and grabbed the second patty. Same if not worse. Decided it has to be a batch error so i called the store. The woman said "no their patties are they way they are" and just offered a sorry. To be very clear the amount of filling inside my entire patty was equal to if not less than a table spoon, smeared thin like mayo on a sandwich. Now to be clear here i am not a complainer. I actually was in such disbelief that I was calling them to warn them that they may have messed up so that they dont get any complains. Long story short, stay away I dont for see this place being open much longer as they are already cutting...

I’ve only been to this location twice & both times, different cashier, same horrible experience.

My first time there I had taken a drink out of the cooler and it was the last one. I asked the cashier if that was the only one they had left (obviously I knew I took the last one, but I meant if they possibly had more in the back). She responded to me saying “That’s all you see there right?”. I said yes, I see that this was all that was there but maybe you had more, don’t worry about it.

I said to myself I was not going back. However, after a few weeks I went back for a friend. I was 3rd in line, there was a lady checking out & and an older guy in front of me.

The lady checked out and was gathering her items while the older guy approached the counter and asked for the menu. The cashier then point at the screen and the guy responded saying he couldn’t see the screen. The cashier said well you asked for the menu and there it is. The lady who had already checked out previously told the cashier to “be nice”. The older guy started to go back and forth with the cashier. The whole situation was so embarrassing and unnecessary. The customer service in this place...

Went to Charlie’s Pastries on 09/09 to get two spicy beefs Pattie’s with bread. Upon walking in I noticed nobody was at the counter after waiting approx 15-30 sec a lady walked out and did not say a word with a face of disgust as if she did not want to be at work. I told her what I wanted and she processed the order. She gave me my change and did not show any customer service. Once I get home I look at the coco bread and that just made my stomach turn. It was very soggy and not consumable. This is terrible and I hope you guys read this. It is 2023 you gotta have customer service to make people want to come back. Your Employee Never welcomed me to the establishment. did not ask me What I would like, and did not thank me for my visit. Better customer service and better...
