I recently discovered China Star Restaurant near my home, and it has quickly become a favorite for my family. This is our third time ordering from here, and each experience has been consistently delightful.

Appetizers: Pork Egg Rolls: Crispy and flavorful, these egg rolls are a great start to the meal. Large Wonton Soup: Comforting and warming, perfect for sharing. Krab Rangoon: Creamy and savory, a must-try.

Main Dishes: Honey Garlic Chicken: Tender chicken glazed with a sweet and garlicky sauce.

Chicken and Broccoli: A classic combination done exceptionally well.

As a New Yorker with high standards for Chinese food, I can confidently say that China Star Restaurant delivers. The staff is friendly, and the service is lightning-fast. What sets them apart is that you can watch them prepare your order right in front of you. It's a small place, but it's all about the food.

This is the best chinese food i've found so far since moving to North Lauderdale! Everything was fresh, non-greasy, and had great flavor.

We actually placed an online order through their website for dinner and when we got there, there was no order ready. I guess their website had a glitch because i even had the confirmation email and order number. However, they were very gracious and put the order in STAT and gave us 2 free drinks for having to wait. Our food was literally out 10 minutes later and it was much appreciated. I could tell everything was just cooked and they weren't pawning any old food off to me. Multiple pictures included because it needed to be shared. :)

We ordered the vegetable lo mein which was steaming hot and full of snow peas, mushrooms, broccoli and bean sprouts. Noodles were cooked great and not gummy, mushy, or drowning in sauce. We also ordered the honey garlic chicken which was some of the best i've ever had. The batter was nice and light and cooked golden . The sauce was not some watered down yellow honey sauce either. It was dark and thick and had garlic floating in it and was SO delicious. We also ordered fried dumplings and crab rangoon. The fried dumplings were nice and crispy and freshly made. The stuffing inside was some of the best i've had flavor wise as well. The crab rangoon were also delicious and not just all cream cheese. They were also perfectly crispy and not soggy with oil.

I will definitely be coming back to order more take-out in the future! I can't wait to try the other menu items and...

So today Friday September 7, I called around 1pm to place a delivery order for 8 crab Rangoon for $4.75 after tax $5.25 , the person who took the order told me that will be a 10 minutes wait I said no problem. 10 minutes pass by I called to remind them of my order ,the lady who answered the phone said minimum delivery is $ 15 I said no problem you can cancell my order, then she asked Am I a guest at the Hampton inn on commercial blvd or an en employee I told her I'm an employee, then she said no problem they'll bring it for me, I waited another 20 plus minutes the delivery guy came I'm reaching my hand to hand him my cash He said it's ok it's for free.. I TOLD MY COWORKER something ain't right,, first I wanted to cancell they refuse and now they are giving me 8 crab Rangoon for free. So I took my lunch break and I ate the crab rangoon. AFTER I ATE THE CRAB RANGOON MY STOMACH STARTED GETTING UPSET BETWEEN 1PM TO 3PM I USED THE BATHROOM TWICE, I GOT OFF WORK AT 3PM, I GOT HOME AT 3.48PM. FROM 3.48PM TO 7PM I POOP TWICE AGAIN NOW 8PM I JUST POOP AGAIN, IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE THESE PEOPLE PUT LAXATIVE IN MY FOOD. REMIND YOU IT HAS BEEN YEARS SINCE I STOP EATING CHINESE FOOD, MY COWORKER OFFERED ME CRAB RANGOON LAST WEEK AND I LIKE IT SO I SAID THATS ALL IM GETTING FROM THEM AND NOW THIS IS WHAT THESE EVIL PEOPLE DID TO ME PUT LAXATIVE IN MY FOOD JUST CAUSE I WANTED TO CANCELL MY ORDER. I WILL NEVER BUY FOOD THERE , UNFORTUNATELY I LEARN MY LESSON...
