We celebrated our ten-year wedding anniversary here and it exceeded our expectations! We’d eaten here two years ago for our anniversary and came back because it was such an awesome experience. Monica, our waitress, was fabulous. She was attentive, thoughtful and offered 5-star service. She truly made us feel special. The food, oh my goodness, the food! We started with the escargot. It was cooked to perfection, buttery and garlicy. The rustic bread was excellent for sopping up the butter. Next was the French onion soup. The onions were caramelized and sweet, the broth tasted homemade and as if it had been simmering all day. Delicious. My husband had the mushroom gnocchi and I had the lobster pasta. Both were rich, made with high-end ingredients and cooked with an expert hand. They were generous with the black truffles and lobster in our respective dishes. Finally, was dessert. We had the peach cobbler, which was served warm, à la mode. The kitchen even took the time to put a candle and write out “10” in chocolate sauce. It was such a nice touch. Every single thing about our experience was five-star. Every encounter we had with the wait service was lovely, the food outstanding, and the atmosphere intimate. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The only star is for the environment. Cause their food SUCKS! The salad is extremely sour. And I can’t believe the scallops are stink! I wish you can eat it in front of me and told me it’s not stink, cause I offered when I mentioned but nobody tried it. I guess you can’t get some fresh seafood. The pork belly is incredible greasy and sweet. I ate pork belly multiple times in other places and a lot of them can cook it pretty well. But this place definitely did the worst job. The duck is super salty. Okay, now come to the dessert, welcome to the sweetness hell! I don’t understand who will add chocolate to creme brulee. I’m not talking about normal sweet, I’m talking about extreme sweet to a point you can’t eat any single bite. I literally can’t finish this my favorite dessert and just want to throw up after this meal! Of course you should take that entree off my bill, cause it’s literally inedible and I’m sure I will got sick if I finish it.

This was one of my favorite meals in Telluride. I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and I was so impressed that Maggie, the Executive Sous Chef came to the table to discuss each course with me. I had the foix gras - which I never thought I would try in a million years and it was delicious! All the flavors blended together and it was incredible! The wagyu steak was to die for - one of the best steaks of my life. And Maggie took a simple sorbet for dessert and dressed it up with fruit and honey to make it really something special since I couldn't eat the other desserts. Our waitress, Kaylie, was top notch, friendly, had great suggestions and only stopped by our table if we weren't talking or eating. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant - it's a must if you are in Telluride, especially if you are looking for quiet romance!

Our recent dinner experience at this restaurant was extremely underwhelming, especially given the exorbitant prices. Despite the establishment’s attempt to present itself as a fine dining venue, the quality of the food and service left much to be desired.

The bone marrow was a glaring issue—completely undercooked, with visible blood that clearly indicated improper preparation. When we raised this with the server, it wasn’t removed from the bill until we specifically requested it, which added to our frustration. Appetizers were decent at best; the steak tartare lacked seasoning and could have benefited from more mustard to bring out its flavor. The duck confit was overpowered by an excess of beans, which overshadowed the dish’s main element.

Service was another major letdown. Our waitress was dismissive and rude, which only highlighted the disorganization that permeated the entire experience. While it’s possible that we visited during a busy time (right after New Year’s), the chaotic atmosphere and lack of attention to detail are unacceptable for a restaurant charging such high prices. For this price point, service should be flawless and the staff much more attentive to guests’ concerns.

The saddest part of the evening was how oblivious the staff seemed to the issues—there was no acknowledgment of how subpar the entire experience felt. This restaurant may aim for sophistication, but it falls short in both food and service. We sincerely hope the other French restaurant in town offers a better...

I took 10 of my friends to this restaurant on January 2. I have been to this restaurant before. I have been a resident of Telluride for 26 years. We ordered oysters as an appetizer and only four people ate the oysters. Out of the four people who ate the oysters - we all got oyster poisoning. Two of us ended up in the emergency room, and the other two of us were sick for two days straight not being able to keep anything down. When I went to go talk to the manager about it, he told me that he would research into it and that was it. He would not help me further and told me to leave the restaurant - he walked me to the door. We spent over $2000 at night that dinner And this was the hospitality we received back from management. On top of all of this, I left a bag that was given to me as a birthday gift worth $300 and I called the same night to make sure they kept the bag. But since I was in the emergency room, I was unable to get it the next day. Someone took it After the fact I called management to save the bag for me. I would not recommend going to this restaurant, especially with their seafood and level of service. If you want overprice trash French food and If you want to vomit and purge...
