Giving one star for the food and the atmosphere, however, the service was extremely disappointing. Everyone has bad days but I have never had a server be more rude than ours was in my life. I worked in the hospitality industry for 12yrs and never would have dreamed of treating my patrons the way our server treated us. Not once, but twice, she made horribly condescending remarks to my senior citizen parents, who asked simple questions about how the ticket was broken up and if they received their side of dipping sauce. I almost came out of my chair, I was so appalled at her sarcastic, disgusting attitude. It’s a shame, these type of encounters will ruin a restaurant, no matter how delicious the cuisine. I want the owner to know, they need to speak with this individual and train them how to treat people with kindness and appreciation especially when this town thrives on tourism. To the waitress with butterfly clips in her hair and jean shorts, maybe the service industry is not for you. Best of luck to you, it’s sad you feel the need to demean the very people who are supporting your vocation of choice. You may want to consider a new field where communication with the human race is...

This one might seem strange. We were a party of 7 sitting in 2 different spots. I’ll start by saying the food was great. The beer was great. The service from the bartender and the manager was great. Me and the Mrs sat at the bar. The rest at a table. We told our youngest it was fine to have her sandwich from another establishment at the table with the other 4 ordering from here. We’re from out of state and our city does allow that. However, she was told by the server that it was not ok. She said it was no problem and that she would leave. He then began to berate her for even bringing it in and would not let up. He followed her outside and told her she could not eat it in their outside area. She was mortified. Her mom then approached the server. She simply asked if she could talk to him. They weren’t very busy but after he avoided her 2-3 times he finally swung around and said “No”. The 5 stars is because the manager came and spoke with us and apologized for that server’s attitude. She was very nice about it and made it right. I understand bad actions by an individual and don’t hold it against an establishment as long as they acknowledge...

I don’t know that this qualifies as a brewery but it was one of 3 that I felt I had to try when in Telluride. The beers I had were all solid, though I didn’t love the stout. The Pale Ale was really nice. The Helles too. The food looked pretty good and the place had some interesting character and a little outdoor area. Most of the servers were nice but I had to go to the bar to get one to come to the table. No biggie. But when it was time to go, I tried motioning to the server with the international “I need my check” signal. Ignored me. Waited another 5 minutes before I finally got up to the bar, again. I hate being that guy, and I am generally pretty patient. But it was middle of the day, relatively dead, and I had a toddler who was melting down on me. I was there for almost an hour, and had a server come to us two times total. I expect the service industry to at least realize a situation and help out. I may go back to give another shot next...
